Sharing because I see other Literotica authors on there too. At least they give authors credit and provide a link to the original text.

The obvious robot voice wasn't the worst I've heard but the pacing was bad and the dialogue was flat.

If there's a link to the original, I consider it free advertising. Never heard of the site, but even one person who finds something they like and follows the link back here, it's a positive.

It looks like a music site. How do you find stories so we can check and see if ours are there?

Thanks for sharing, @OnlyHappyEndings. I gave this page a quick skim. It has 200 stories by a bunch of authors I recognize. If I've tagged you below, at least one of your stories is posted here.

You may care or you may not, but I wanted to make you aware. I know I'd want to know if one of my stories had been recorded and posted to a site like this without my permission.

@blackrandl1958
@silkstockingslover
@lovecraft68
@MelissaBaby
@Trionyx
@Publius68
@HeyAll
@Voboy
@RejectReality
@BurntRedstone

I took a quick look at the site, but it looks like they don't have a clear way to challenge content theft. I was just screwing around on my phone, though; maybe someone else can find a way.

To hear it you have to sign up for their premium so I don't need to hear my stories that bad.

But like @RejectReality said, if we're getting credit-and we are, my name is listed on all six stories they have of mine. I'll leave it be, its advertising.

I notice no taboo, just milf and 'general erotica' so they have an idea about what content flies on their site.

It would have been nice to be asked for permission, but I don't think its a big deal. I gave it away here, after all.

Somewhat less enamored of them getting paid for my free content, now that I'm looking around.

How much do you think they're making? Looking around at the site as a whole I'd say these stories aren't a fraction of where they make their money.

I also find it funny that Lit makes money from our stories and no one cares about that, including me because I see it as an exchange, I get my work out there, they make some money.

No different than this, our names are on the stories, if someone reads and likes one they may go search the pen name and end up here and read more of your work....for free while lit makes money.

Funny how people get a pole up their ass because someone is making a dollar off the story you chose to give away in the first place.

It's the difference between agreeing to it and having it done without your consent.

Just because we post here doesn't mean that we want any random site scraping our stories.

In his original post, RR was "Oh, we're credited, so its advertising." and that was knowing he didn't give permission. Now its 'OMG they might make .50!"

They have six of mine, and I don't care. I sell my work so if something brings them to me here and they see my links for sale, maybe I get something from it. Maybe not.

But again, the whining about piracy when you've had your story up on the net for free for years is tiring.

If you don't know this happens there's something wrong.

It's kind of crazy, but different people have different opinions about the situation.

The fact that this is a free site doesn't really matter because it's each author's choice to post their work here, and not there.

I never said I was going to bother. I said I was slightly less enamored. It could very well be a case of that's the only platform who will let the person post these, and the revenue sharing element was irrelevant to that decision. ( and no doubt miniscule as you suggest anyway )

I'm basically giving the benefit of the doubt at this point because the listings so clearly state that the work isn't theirs, and provides links to the originals.

That doesn't mean everyone else would feel that way, and someone had mentioned having a difficult time finding a way to report copyright violations, so I provided that.

I did some research on this and here is what I found:
  1. This podcast is stealing stories from various websites and trying to monetize them by different methods. This is not just "more publicity" for stories, this is someone trying to sell the stories in various ways (ways that could impact author future earnings) without paying authors.

  2. The author admits that the stories are stolen in each of the podcast descriptions.

  3. This is very low effort. They steal the stories and then appear to simply use a computer voice to digitize them. The goal is to make money for the thief, not to produce anything worthwhile for listeners or authors.

  4. It is possible to get a text transcript on many podcast platforms, so they are not only stealing stories for audio, but stealing and publishing the text version of the stories as well.
If you have stories stolen by this podcast, you should file a complaint and get thief's account shut down so that he can't make money by stealing.

Where is the most effective way to file a complaint for a podcast? The hosting company would be the first target. After that, the biggest platforms where it is being syndicated (Spotify, Apple, Google, and Amazon). If we can get his host to take down the podcast, he'll be forced to move to another host, possibly stopping him.

This podcast is hosted on anchor.fm, a Spotify-owned podcast hosting company.

Spotify is a large international company and Anchor FM has publicly said that they have "a zero-tolerance, DMCA-compliant policy for copyright violation." Neither Spotify or Anchor FM allow copyright theft, so take downs should be easy in this case. Spotify also says that they ban repeat offenders. If several of us file take downs, the account should be deleted and the podcast should disappear from all platforms.

Here is the Spotify copyright page:

Spotify/Anchor FM Copyright complaints can be submitted via this form:
https://support.spotify.com/ie/report-content/

Or sent to this email address:
infringement-claim@spotify.com

Spotify requires the following information:
Specific identification of each copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;

A description of where the material believed to be infringing is located on the Spotify Services or the Spotify Websites (please be as detailed as possible and provide a URL to help us locate the material you are reporting);

Contact information for the complaining party, such as a complete name, address, telephone number, and email address;

A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the work(s) in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law (such as fair use); and

A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, the complaining party is the owner of the right that is allegedly infringed, or agent for the owner.

A physical or electronic signature of the owner (or person authorized to act on behalf of the owner) of the copyright that is allegedly infringed; and

A statement that you understand that your contact information and/or notice will be provided to the alleged infringing party, and retained as long as required for legal purposes.

Your complaint should include the URL of the infringing stories, both the Spotify URL and the Literotica URL (in this case, most of the Literotica URLs are included in the episode notes).

If you want to be sure that the podcast is removed from Spotify Hosting, you should include information in the complaint that the podcast is hosted with podcasters.spotify.com (previously Anchor FM). You can get exact links to episode here:
https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/erotica-podcast-network7/

You should also include the podcaster quote that says:
"I did not write and take no credit for this story."
This shows an admission of guilt by the podcaster and an intent to steal content that the podcast producer does not own.

As far as how much information to share in the complaint, different authors have taken different approaches to this and had varying rates of success. In this case, the podcast producer admits to stealing so it shouldn't be too difficult to get their shows banned.

This same podcaster seems to have several different shows, all of them stealing from authors.

I hope to publish a Literotica "How To" article on filing DMCA complaints against podcasters as AI is giving thieves the ability to steal stories more easily. Hopefully this information will be useful for now.
