Oh it is! The art of flirting is one that (sadly) seems to be dying out.

I've got to say the men round here seem to be exceptionally good at it, mind you.

I love flirting, because it is all about thinking and nuance. Of course, I'm prone to misinterpreting or being too self consious face to face, unless I am in "persona" -- that is, when I was a stage performer, I could flirt blatantly with an audience member and not even seem like myself. It is only when I get drawn down with the inner demons, so to speak, that I get so tongue tied I can't think.

Again, high praise. We should find a way for you to award a rose pin to your favorite flirters, like a lady conveying her silken favor to the knights in her court.
