Former PA congressman pleads guilty to ballot-stuffing for Democrats in federal elections

'Even one vote' that is illegally cast 'diminishes faith in process,' federal prosecutors say

By Jessica Chasmar | Fox News

A former Pennsylvania congressman has pleaded guilty to extensive voter fraud, including stuffing ballot boxes for Democratic candidates, spanning multiple elections in the state.

Former U.S. Rep. Michael "Ozzie" Myers, 79, of Philadelphia, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to deprive voters of civil rights, bribery, obstruction of justice, falsification of voting records, and conspiring to illegally vote in a federal election, the Justice Department announced Monday.

Federal prosecutors said Myers orchestrated schemes to fraudulently stuff ballot boxes for Democratic candidates in the 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 Pennsylvania elections.

How can this be? Peck, 1174, Zip, tell us this never happens.

Good.

I've never said it never happens. It just doesn't happen in any frequency that sways an election. In this case, it was relegated to primary elections. If I was a Democrat in the state..I'd be pissed.

Not that he doesn't deserve to go to jail for it or anything, but Whiteguide neglects to mention that Myers' shenanigans were only in the Democratic primaries. So if you're thinking this means anything whatsoever regarding Trump's fair-and-square loss in PA in 2020, guess again!

Dumbfuck vetteman thinks his excuses his Arizona thread fuck up.
I love the fact that last year he invested all of his righteous hope in that thread...and then when it predictably went tits up he just whistled on by like it was a crazy ex-girlfriend he didn't want to remember. :ROFLMAO:

In the 19th Century, a ballot box was a glass globe in a wooden frame. Everybody could see what went into it. Presumably, counting involved breaking the globe -- in public -- and counting the ballots then and there -- in public.

Why was such a simple and secure practice dropped?

If you know anything about 19th century elections, you know they were anything but secure.
