Formatting updates taking a long time?

I submitted a couple of stories to do formatting updates. The FAQ says it could take up to a week for these to go through. They have been pending close to three weeks now. Any idea if this is normal or if I need to do something different?

Submitted edits can take a couple of months. Patience Grasshopper.

This is normal. Any kind of edits routinely take a month these days, possibly more.

The FAQ might have been true 10 years ago. Today it 100% is not.

Absolutely normal. Edits have always been low priority. The FAQs are way out of date on this matter. All you can do is wait.

Agree, but some folk seem unable to do that. In too much of a hurry, or to be fair to very new writers, they haven't thought much about their format until they see their first attempt on the screen.

Mind you, it's hard to see how you can go wrong with italics and maybe bold. I suspect people get too clever with their formatting.
