Format issues

I spent about 2 hours trying to find a way to get my first story submission to format correctly in the Literotica submission page. In .txt the preview showed a lot of little 'A's with little marks above them were the paragraph indentions should have been. Line breaks were scattered across the whole mess. .DOC had similar issues. If anybody can help with this, I'd greatly appreciate the assistance.

I'm also noticing that tabbing on this site causes me to jump to the next entry field, instead of producing an indention, which may be a part of the problem. A perfect solution for me would be an editor willing to take the file, make it work right on the site, tell me how they did it, and return it to me in a file that I can turn around to the site.

And finally, I'd like a run through of the story so that I can be absolutely sure I didn't miss any glaring errors.

Thank you in advance,
Luerim

There is no tabbing here. Everything starts flush left--so there should be an extra line space between paragraphs.

For the rest, I've always just cut and paste into the box for submissions and never had a problem--so can't help you with anything fancier and riskier. I'm sure someone will be along shortly to help you with that.

You have to look at your story on preview before it posts, so you can proof it there and just click back on the reedit button and preview what you've changed and repeat until you're happy with it.

If all else fails, copy/paste it into a no-frills word processor like Wordpad or Notepad, and then save it as a plain .txt file. That should strip out any fancy formatting.

As SR mentioned, everything is left flush, so make sure you put a blank line between your paragraphs to separate them.

I've been reading stories on this site for years, and honestly never noticed that everything was flushed left. That takes care of a big part of the problem. Thanks.
