Just wait to your erection goes down, then it'll be easy

Is that when it's erect?
Some guys even when erect the foreskin doesn't pull all the way behing the glans.

Before last night, the skin wouldn't go back at all. I stuck something in my ass for the first time (it was ok in case you're interested. Not mindblowing, but not horrible neither.). I wonder if that affected my dick in that way.

No. That wouldn't cause that to happen. Also, some guys have too much foreskin, ( or overhang as it's called), where it never retracts at all, erect or flaccid. That's no problem, unless it's causing pain or too much discomfort everytime. That's when it's time go see the old doc or urologist. I know this because my bf is uncut.

I have experianced similar problems in the past. If you pull it back a little a couple of times a day, gradually inceasing how much you can pull back comfortably, it should get easier to retract and move back over. Don't pull any further if it starts to hurt. This should make the skin more flexible.

After a few weeks of this it has been far less likely to get 'stuck' behind.

So it's not permanent right? Cause the thought of having a big orange ring around my dick is rather unpleasant.

Take a warm shower and play with it. With a little soap it will go back to normal.

Please, I'm not trying to come on here as the expert, by no means. There is a simple procedure a urologist can do there at the office or clinic. The tiny flap of skin underneath the head or glans, the frenulum. He makes a small slit on that tiny flap of skin to release and allow the foreskin to retract always. That is what is keeping the foreskin always tight or not allowing to retract freely and comfortably. I hope this is not to squeamish, but a friend of mine had it done, and he's never been happier. Well worth it instead of suffering a lifetime of problems. He said it was hardly painful, more just like a little sting, even though the medic offered to give him a local anesthetic if needed. The only thing is since the glans has been always covered before, it will be real sensitive for a few days. It beats circumcision, (God forbid)and you still have all of your foreskin.

What you are currently experiencing is known as paraphimosis. It could be due to the fact that you may have a broad glans(the head of your penis) and/or a short/tight foreskin.

If your foreskin is retracted and you have symptoms of swelling of the foreskin, pain or a firm, hard glans without an erection then you must immediately bring your foreskin forward to its normal position. This can be a medical emergency and if it worsens, tissue death can occur.

You can attempt to bring the foreskin forward by yourself by applying pressure to your glans. Try gently squeezing and pushing your glans with your thumbs to try to get the glans back into the foreskin. Some lubricant will help. You can also try to use granulated sugar to reduce the swelling of your penis.

If this doesn't work then I suggest you go to a doctor as soon as possible. They can use various non-invasive methods to reduce it.

The doctor may recommend circumcision, which is not necessary, you will just need to be more careful with yourself.

If your foreskin is tight, then you can try some manual stretching while you are in the shower, by gently pulling outwards on your foreskin opening. If you do this once a day, every day, for a few minutes while bathing then you will have a fully retractable foreskin within a few weeks.

I have a condition called paraphimosis.

I see.
I suspected that was your condition. My friend's condition was Phimosis.
Well, I also had paraphimosis. Unfortunately I had to be circumsized. This happened when I was 14 or 15 years old. I wish the other "slit" procedure had been tried on me first. I might have been able to still have all my foreskin intact. Even as a grown man today I can still remember the same problems. I understand you perfectly.
Thanks for the site re Paraphimosis.

Well I'm back to normal though I may have a little sugar trapped in there somewhere.
