Foreskin Fiasco

I am an uncircumsised male and my problem is this; there is a spot on the back side of the head where the foreskin is still attached. If the foreskin is pulled all the way back when I have an erection (during sex for example) that one spot feels VERY tight to the point of being quite painful.
Me and my GF were fooling around last weekend and as I was putting it into her it was being quite a nuicence and I felt a distinct 'pop', it hurt like hell so we stopped and upon closer examination I was bleeding quite a bit, It seems the skin had torn slightly at that point. This has happened once before while I was masturbating.
The tear is healing but the problem still remains, is there anything I can do about this or should I see a doctor about having it surgicaly seperated?

Also, are ther any other guys out there that this has happened to? Misery loves company.

I've heard of foreskins being extra-tight, you might want to talk to a doctor (since healthcare's free up in the north anyway) about it and possible treatments. I'm pretty sure there are a few there that don't require surgery.

The site suggested by alwrighto is a good one. I would only add that if you are living here in the United States, be careful that you find a foreskin friendly doctor. Most are uninformed and will put pressure on you to have a circumcision instead. They can be very persuasive.

You may want to do additional research on the site suggested and others. Do a search for foreskin + restoration. Read and become informed, before going to the doctor. Don't accept their advice at face value without doing your homework first.
