Forbidden message when posting

Ok.. I need some help here.. I can post pics sometimes.. and then sometimes not.. Cannot change my av at all.. I keep getting this message:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /forum/profile.php on this server.

maybe its a problem with your internet browser and lit?

do you use internet explorer or another browser such as firefox or opera?

Best thing to do is to PM Laurel or Manu, or contact them using the "contact us" link at the bottom of every page.

Sign off Literotica, delete your cookies, (or at least the Literotica cookie) then sign back in.

I don't know if this will help but it's worth a try.

Yep.. have checked with my ISP... I delete the cookies.. the cache.. I sweep.. and mop.. and everything else I am suppose too lolo.. GRRR and I have done the "Contact US" thing more than a few times...

As far as pissing someone off.. there's no telling.. *giggle* I really try to avoid that scenerio...

The thing is just wishy washy.. sometimes it works... and other times not.. can't figure out where the issue is... I use IE.. was using the Mozilla program... but what is odd.. is I can post a pic.. but not change the av.. that to me.. is weird..

I do appreciate your comments.. and don't profess to know everything.. and am willing to do whatever .. computer wise lol.. to try and get it working right again...

I think your problem is that the vBulletin automatically logs you out after fifteen minutes or so without any activity -- with the temporary "bbslast activity" cookie, which is NOT stored in your cookies directory where you can find it.

Try deleting your temporary internet files (and answer yes to delete all online content) to clear that cookie from your system and then log back into Lit.

Sometimes when your temporary internet files reach the allotted space limit, your browser gets confused over which items to remove to stay within the alloted space -- temporary cookies seem to be especially prone to corruption and untimely deletions.

hmmm.. Ok... I always delete the cookies.. and temp files.. but I will try it the way you suggested.. makes a bit of sense.. since.. at times.. I get a bit distracted.. and leave lit running...
