If you don't know if you're one or not, you're not!

I'm trying to get ahold of carrie-on. This is ExLimey but for some reason it won't let me start a thread as myself or read a PM that Carrie-on just sent me. I got an email saying I got one but when I log on it keeps sending me back to the "you don't have permission..." message. I'm feeling my blood pressure sky rocket...

It let's me post replys but won't let me in to Control Panel, won't let me start a thread, won't let me send a PM, or send an e-mail.

AAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGG

Usually that's okay because I tend to "lurk" more than take part and I rarely if ever get PMs (or PMS for that matter)

I'm having the same problem. I assumed that it was because I'm on Web TV. I sent Laurel an e-mail about it a while back, but never received a reply. I'm also unable to look at pics posted in threads.

Ditto! It did work a few weeks ago as I was able to change my sig line.

Are you guys trying to get in with a favorites button? or do you come in via.. http://www.literotica.com then click on the Bulletin Board link?

Are you surfing Lit with your cookies on or off?

Do you log in using the Log In button or hit return (after you have typed in your name and password)?

The GB is set as a favorite, but I've tried the long way and still have the problem.

I've also tried logging in by <return> and the log in button.

I think this is a webtv problem since there is no way to disable cookies, that shouldn't be the problem.

ahhh nope.. no cookies on webtv.. hmmm guess I have no answers.. ;)

Sorry I couldn't help... :(

Hope io works better for you soon.

As a former resident of the Soo, I just wanted to say hello and acknowledge that I know what a Yooper is.

Hi Limey! I don't know what the problem is with the pm's but here I am. Just wanted to say hello to a fellow Yooper.

Soo to TX, wow! I went LA to da UP! I know what the culture shock is like. I was actually in the Soo last week for the day on business. Love to watch the boats go by in the summer time.

Hello Yooper Carrie. Just where is "smack dab in the middle"? I live half way between Marquette and Munising, near Chatham.

I lived in the Soo back '68 thru '70. I was there for 7th grade through 9th grade. My dad worked for the Immigration Department on the International bridge. Our family was transfered from the Soo in February down to Caracas, Venezuela. It took me two years to get warm.

I know what you mean when you speak of the enjoyment of watching the lake freighters going through the locks in the summer. Summer is so pretty up there..... both days. ;)

I've been back to the Soo twice in the past few years. Once in the summer and once in October. It really is pretty up there, but I think I'll stay down south.

Wait! When did they add a day?

Just to let you know how weird our winter has been on Thurs/Fri Marquette (Negaunee) received a big storm which broke the annual record. They've had 272 inches of snow so far this winter, 151 inches in February alone! Then on Saturday it was close to 50 degrees.

International Bridge - that's where I took my citizenship test and had my interview when I became "Ex"Limey. I got sworn in in Federal Court in Marquette. They originally wanted me to drive down to Detroit for the test, but I was able to get it switched to the Soo (3 hour drive vs. 8-9 hr drive)

I WAS a Yooper, but now I'm officially a troll... although I will always consider myself a Cheesehead.

lol Had to laugh when I saw this. There is a saying here that the UP has eleven months of winter and 30 days of rain. So that leaves only one nice day, right?

Flower,we call you trolls because you live under the bridge.

Limey, smack dab in the middle is over by Seney and Germfask.

By the restaurant that says "EAT" on the roof? (I know it's called the Triangle Restaurant, but it makes me chuckle every time I drive by)

LOL not really, but I drive by it every day when I go to work. My hubby and his brother joke when they want to meet for lunch..."Meet me at EAT me". I always laugh when I hear them say it.
