Trump and Zelensky need to set aside their pigheadedness and continue on with this rare mineral mining agreement. One thing that won't happen as certain as I'm sitting here is Trump will not agree to a security agreement. That will have to fall on the Europeans.

Maybe Putin's own people will take him out.

If they insist on continuing the fight their biggest problem is men. The Draft age in Ukraine is 25. They don't have a prayer for adding additional men in sufficient numbers to feed the meatgrinder if they don't lower their draft age. In my opinion, it's Zelensky who needs to set aside his pigheadedness.

The thought I can't get out of my head were the questions asked of Bill Clinton during a personal interview, when he was dealing with Putin. Those questions being, that during his tenure as POTUS did he make deals with Putin, and his answer was a few times. The 2nd question was, did Putin honor the deals and Bill answered, he did! to the fullest extent of the agreement.

The thought I can't get out of my head is what would have happened had Biden had a pow-wow with Putin prior to the invasion? My 2nd question is, Would Putin honor an agreement with Trump and the US? Zelensky needs to at least allow negotiations to proceed and play the " got em! don't got em" game and go from there!!

It's probably more, ie, Politico and dozens of Ukrainian media companies were paid by USAID to report favorable messaging about the war in Ukraine. I don't know about Balkininsight.com.
