Dramatically mixed. Started out mellow, spent yesterday mostly chilling out, this morning I found out my uncle died last night, had a great day with Lady P in Harvard Square, one of my best friends turned 40 today...

He was 84 yo, had diabetes and lived a happy life. He apparently died very quickly, without any evidence of suffering. It's sad, but as these things go it could have been a lot more painful for everyone. Thanks, though.
Sounds like a great weekend. I haven't been dancing in ages.

Thanks. See above. Like my mom said when I talked to her, at that age you start expecting and accepting these things. He was a great guy and I'm glad he was in my life, but I'm not terribly broken up. Yanno? I'll mis him at Christmas and the like, but I hardly ever saw him otherwise.

Same here. Some of the ones who are blood relations on my dad's side I've never met, and from the descriptions I've heard I'm just as well for it. This one married his sister and was a constant.
