I didn't stay last evening.......

and now am bleary eyed.........mostly from allergies.....
Lots of cottonwood floating around, even indoors!

I woke up before I needed to; the dishes in the sink were calling to me.

What's new with you?

working today......for the most part.....(that's not a "new" thing)

and then, applying myself to the yard, to get a couple of seasons of neglect erased from the flower gardens....

no new trips planned.....

Cool cool. I'm going to get my yoga on, and then probably come back and start the packing process in earnest. The Ex wants to hang out at some point, and then it's French Film Night with the girls. We're going to watch (them for the first time, me for the third or fourth) Jeux d'Enfants, or Love Me If You Dare. It's a nice, twisted love story.

To Coffee?

:(

That is a bad thing.

A very bad thing.
It's something I can fix, apparently. I have to go off of it for a month, and then ease back into it slowly.

You were overindulging?

The headache must have been a killer the morning after you stopped.

Coffee is definitely a relationship worth having, IMO.

No, not overindulging. Just the daily bit, though daily when I'm allergic makes things difficult.

Yeah, yesterday was a bitch. The headache's really scaled back now, though. I'm trying to figure out some stuff to buy that I can keep at home to eat. I think almond butter, something crackery or bready that doesn't have wheat or egg...

This next month is going to definitely require some creative culinarity.

There's a magazine at Natural Pantry called "Living Without". Basically, it's for folk with a gluten allergy/sensitivity, but it does have some ideas. There are some rice crackers out there that aren't too bad, they just need salt. Soy is ok?

Soy is fine, actually. I'd love to find a wheat-free rye bread. I see myself, when I'm not snagging oatmeal at work, having almond butter on a rye bread with a drizzle of honey.

There was a bakery in Juneau that used to make the BEST rye bread. I'd always bring home a couple loaves when I was down that way. I'd bet that it still had some wheat in it.

From up and down, and still, somehow
It's clouds' illusions I recall.
I really don't know clouds at all.
