Fewer. I leave on August 2nd...

I dunno what I'm doing for the fourth yet. Might go to Seward, but I work Thursday.

Take an early drive to Seward. That way, you can get a parking spot downtown and preferably in a place easy to head back to Anchorage. Take a friend. Enjoy the small town 4th. Watch one (or more) of the races. Either up on the mounain along the trail, or at the bottom of the mountain are good race watching spots. Seward can be pretty cool.

Oh, I've been to Seward before; I just don't know who I'll go with for the 4th...

The place is JAMMED with people on the 4th. It's a bit different than any other time. Traffic on the highway, is hell, or close.

I'll prolly just continue on mucking out the gardens. And, perhaps go get my bike muddy.

Feel free to come join me! I'll be trying to come up with creative ways to entertain the little one. He's still afraid of the firework noise, so I have to figure out an alternative plan.

It would be so rude for you to go to Seward, drop the kidlet off with SR and then pedal the Lost Lake trail with me. Unthinkable.
