Red is home and recuperrating. I chatted with Pleaz_me earlier and she gave me the news. Hopefully, we will have our favorite redhead back with us soon.

Hi everyone.

Thanks so very much for all your thoughts, prayers, wishes, candles, and love. . .I can’t thank you enough.

I am doing okay. Tired and worn, and I smell like medicine, hell I think I taste like Saline solution. *yikes*

The incision itself isn’t healed, it is now a wound though and not an incision. An open wound. They cleaned all the infection out, removing all the dead skin and part of the infected muscle under the skin. The infection had gone through all the layers of skin so they took out a lot, then graphed in new donated/manufatured skin.

My spouse and my mom have been taught on how to pack this open wound with wet gauze. After about a month of packing. . .(unless my body gives me a break) then the plastic surgeon will finish closing the wound with surface stitches.

I thought about you all so very much. . . sometimes at what would be inappropriate times, like. . .

When there were 3 people bathing me on this metal table and I had six pair of hands on me. :rollseyes: Then again, maybe those are the appropriate times?

I've missed all of you so very much too. I am going to keep up on my meds and such and rest too. I figure I earned a few days off from housewife stuff.
