Just immersing myself in tunes and sending you lots of healing and comforting thoughts. I know that you feel the love of all your friends. What goes around, comes around, Darlin' and you have been there for SO many... now is one of those times to sit back and feel the love. *HUGZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ*
Be Gentle with Yourself my friend. Annie
When you're down and troubled
and you need a helping hand
and nothing, whoa nothing is going right.
Close your eyes and think of me
and soon I will be there
to brighten up even your darkest night
you just call out my name
and you know where ever I am
I'll come running, oh yeah baby
to see you again.
Winter, spring, summer, or fall,
all you have to do is call
and I'll be there, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You've got a friend.
If the sky above you
should turn dark and full of clouds
and that old north wind should begin to blow
Keep your head together and call my name out loud
and soon I will be knocking upon your door.
You just call out my name and you know where ever I am
I'll come running to see you again.
Winter, spring, summer or fall
all you got to do is call
and I'll be there, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I do not know quite what to say; I am so sorry for your loss, you have my deepest condolences.
I tend to post this little Buddhist story in times like these, you've probably already heard it and I suspect others do not find it as helpful as I do, but I found respite in it once in more dire times of my own:
There was a woman named Kisa Gotami, who had a son she cared about more than anything else in the world. But one day her young son fell ill, and he died. She was beside herself with grief, and unable to accept that he was dead, she took his body around the village and asked everyone she met if they had any medicine so that she could bring him back to life. They all thought she had gone mad, but eventually, she found an old man who told her to go see the Buddha, that he would be able to help. Kisa Gotami went to find the Buddha and when she found him, she asked for medicine to help her son. The Buddha replied that she must go to every house in the village and collect a mustard seed from each that had not known death, then she was to return with the seeds and he would make a potion to bring back her son. So, Kisa Gotami went to every house in the village and asked them if they had experienced death, and at every house the answer was yes. Time after time she was turned away and she began to grow despondent, but soon she realised that no one was spared death and she began to understand its universality. Finally burying her son, she went back to tell the Buddha.
Nirvana, recall your fabric! You are from the Goddess. Say the words in your time of need as a comfort.
Blessed Be My Love
I am the beauty of the green earth, and the white moon among the stars, and the mystery of the waters, and the desire of the heart of man. Call unto thy soul, arise, and come unto me. For I am the sould of Nature, who gives life to the Universe. From me all things proceed, and unto me all things must return; and before my face, beloved of Gods and of men, let thinge innermost divine self be enfolded in the rapture of the infinite. Let my worship be within the heart that rejoiceth; for behold, all acts of love and pleasure are my rituals. Therefore, let there be beauty and strength, power and compassion, honor and humility, mirth and reverence within you. And thou who thinketh to seek for me, know thy seeking and yearning shall avail thee not unless thou knoweth the mystery; that if that which thy seekest thou findest not within nthee, thou wilt never find it without thee. For behold, I have been with thee from the beginning, and I am that which is attained at the end of desire.
And Do What You Will be the challenge,
So be it Love that harms none,
For this is the only commandment.
By Magic of old, be it done!
We are all like stained-glass windows -- they sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.
Time may blunt the hurt a little, may dim the brightness of memory a touch, but Georgie will remain in your heart forever, and she will always be smiling.
Times like these, I find it so difficult to choose the right words to say. I want to be profound, yet only simple words come to mind.
My thoughts are with you and your loved ones during this difficult and devasting time.
I wish I could be there
to hold your hand to give you strength;
to hug you to give you comfort;
to lend an ear to hear your words;
to give a shoulder to catch your tears.
My dear, sweet woman. You have shown me such great kindness since I've been here. No words can take away your pain but they can help you to heal. Please call on me any time if you need to.
