It should be allowed. Do you have people on your buddies list? If your buddies list is blank, it won't work.

Laurel, if sharing pm's isn't permitted, why are those options even there? Did you just say that it is permitted as long as it's in a pm and not on the boards?

Forwarding pm's is allowed.

Sharing of them on the board is not.

I’d conjecture that Laurel isn’t libel for anything you forward to your buddies, however, she is for personal information posted to the board. That and the fact that when you post something to the board it becomes 'public'.

MsTerious, if you read the actual rule in the forum guidelines it clearly states:

4. You may not post personal information of other members or, for that matter, anyone else. We do not allow phone numbers, email addresses, private messages or quotes from private emails to be posted on the forum. This rule also covers real names, employment info, and any other personal information that we deem inappropriate.

Note that it says that you may not POST these items. It says nothing about sharing with your buddies.
