Clinton Says He's Bewildered by Pardon Controversy, AP Says


New York, Feb. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Former President Bill Clinton told CNBC television host Geraldo Rivera that he is ``bewildered'' by the controversy surrounding his pardon of fugitive commodities trader Marc Rich, the Associated Press reported.



There ``isn't a single, solitary shred of evidence that I did anything wrong, or that (Rich's) money changed hands,'' Clinton said, according to Rivera. He blamed Republicans for fueling criticism he has received since the last-minute pardon, AP said.
