Hey Bratnips--take care of yourself. My sister-in-law had both wrists done a couple of years ago and is back to normal now. The dominant hand is the tougher of the two to do. She got her CTS from knitting/crocheting and she is back to normal now.

lol I so over did it with my hand this morning what with chores and then it was a cold day so I just had to make homemade chicken noodle soup...cuttin veggies up wasnt such a bright idea but damn the soup was good lol

I HAVE to wear one at work for sure and need to when I go grocery shopping, but usually forget it then!

I always ended up taking mine off at work so I quit taking them..its a damn bitch to type with those braces on ..and I never was very good at listening to the doctors..hmmm my neighbor accused me of being too stubborn and bad at letting other people do stuff for me tonite..the crockpot wasnt THAT heavy tho lolol not MY fault I aint used to other people doin thangs for me now is it? lmao

Love you, too! Just got back from the doctors appt. Daniel's dr. said he thought that he MIGHT have a intestinal virus, couldn't really tell by examining him, but can go back to school tomorrow, no meds. MY doctor said that I DO have an intestinal virus and trying to get a kidney infection, again So he gave me some antibiotics and meds to take for nausea and I can't go back to work until Sat. (Ahhhh, what a shame!,hehehe, I just can't stand it, except that it will be w/o pay!) Also had to talk to the insurance co, there were charges that they had not paid from back in June. Talked to them, they paid part of them and Dr and I should be getting new statement regarding the items that they did not pay within 7-14 days.

lol good luck on that 7-14 day thang..you might call and nag them in a few days...I do medical collections with insurance companies and 7-14 days always turns into much longer lol

Yes, she is crocheting, but it took about 5 months before she could get back to it. You'd better quit overdoing it or you'll be healing even longer!

Hi All.....Well this storm was not as bad as I thought it would be but it packed a punch with the winds.... I picked my son up from school came home to change and off we went to the shore.

We stopped at a very good friends house and waited for her to get off of work... Then we headed for Sandy Hook. It was still light out and my god the people that were there.... We walked, or tried to, on the beach and the waves were beautiful. The winds were soooooooo strong that the sand was in our pockets when we returned to the car. We went further down and got out again.... The sand was flying and it was hard to see until you got up closer. We decided to go on to Sea Bright and look around. Would you believe I forgot my camera in my car. **we had my friend's car** So we stopped at a store and I bought a camera I hope the pics turn out and if they do I will share them with you.

We went back to her house for something to eat and pick up her daughter and future son in law so they could join us. Back to Sandy Hook we went but they wouldn't let us in because the winds were worse than before... You could see the sand dunes on the roadway.

We went on down the road and decided to go up on a Jetty and look out.... It was darker now and you could hear the winds howling it was spooky but fun. These winds were soooooooo forceful that it was pushing me around like a rag doll and believe me that is not easy to do...lmao. I held onto my son for fear he would go flying away. The waves were even bigger and looked even more beautiful. What a site and my son told me I was a brave and wonderful mom to let him see this.

We got home safely and I think we took have the beach with us because there was soooooooo much sand in our hair, shoes, clothes and even behind our ears....

I am glad I got the opportunity to do this with my son. He at no time was in any danger and the storm was mild compared to what I saw on the TV. But it is something he will always remember..........love and memories is what we give our children and friends.

and yes, Im taking it much easier today then I did yesterday...had to run to the corner store this morning..driving wasnt bad but it wasnt easy either so I wont be doing much of that til Monday when I go back to work
