Here's what I cooked up today.

Bacon Wrapped Porterhouse Steak
Grilled Veggies and Potatoes
Grilled Fruit Salsa (plum, peach, cayenne, onion and pineapple)

Youvare killing me..had peanutbutter and protein bar for lunch.
 
Alright so my initial contribution isn't exactly high brow or exciting, but I got to go to the state fair today, and though we didn't get to try the new food I specifically wanted (HOLY CROWDED and HOT, BATMAN!) I did decide to try the bacon ice cream. It's not a new concept I guess, but I'd never gotten around to trying it.

Verdict: Mostly sweet and mapley. I could have used more salt to it. The bacon itself was mostly a distraction to the texture. Oh well, it's good to try something new!

I'm from Buffalo and one of the things that is local to the area is a sammich known as Beef on Weck. Whenever I'm home and I need my fix, I go to the restaurant that Tony Bourdaine went to when he visited Buffalo.
