Nothing is consistent, and there's no reason to believe that any of it is right.
The updates are a ragged mess right now. The readers may not get the same number on any two pages they look at, and they generally don't agree with what I have on my control panel, and one part of my control panel disputes the other.
I had a story go up this morning. It was the last chapter in a series. The story page shows that it has three views and nothing else. That page also shows that I have 33 stories up (which is true) but if I go back to the previous part of the same story, it shows that I have 32 stories up.
Worse, if I bring up part 3 of the story, it has a pane on the side of the last page that links to the earlier chapters of the story. That pane is missing from both part 4 and part 5. A link from the end to earlier parts of the story is something I counted on the readers having and using.
When I go to my public profile, it shows all five parts of the series I just finished, but the series is shown as a 4-part series, and the fifth part is excluded from the list.
On my user control panel, "My Home" shows that three people favorited my most recent story. When I got to "Works" it says that the story has one favorite.
I have another story ready to post right now, and another one in the near future, but that isn't going to happen.
