best area to look around is Kissimmee or Stain Cloud, both border Orlando, but are a little cheaper to live

Rebel, I'm in Pinellas County now and considering Citrus, or at least farther north. I need to move right away and it's SO expensive here! Are rentals much lower in Citrus or do I have to move to Pensacola instead?

I'm moving from Seminole county, prices seem to noticably lower. I'm staying with a family member over there until I'm settled.

Looks like its moving further west so we won't have a repeat of Ian. 50 MPH winds (vs 100+) and 3-5 inches of rain. Big difference is Siesta Key is expecting 3-5 feet of surge. After Ian, I had impact windows installed so no more shutters and a whole house automatic back up generator running on Natural Gas. Should have a lot less impact ... I hope.
