Oh yes...don't we know that to well. :p
From now till early Spring the weather is usually not that bad, definitly more livable that the summer thats for sure. :p

I had dinner on Lincoln Road last night and sat outside. It was quite pleasant (well, after I moved that infernal candle away from my arm) and it's nice to sit outside and watch "the show" that is South Beach.

Sounds like a joke when you say it, but sadly it's so true..kinda funny to sit back and watch "the show". Lincoln definitly has it's own species.... :p

Have you had sushi at World Resource? one of my favorite on Lincoln.

Never eaten there. I don't go out to Lincoln Road that often, and when I do it's usually just for photographic opportunities. Dinner is only if I'm there and hungry and I'm more of a pasta guy than sushi. :) I love the penne gorgonzola at Rosinella.

Safety Tip--Emergency Contact Link

The Florida Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles now offers an emergency contact information registration process for Florida residents. After registering with this service, if you are ever injured in an accident and otherwise unable to speak, the officer will be able to type your driver's license number into their computer and access your emergency contact information immediately. By having this information at an accident site, first responders will be able to contact someone who can make decisions about your medical care as quickly as possible. If you live by yourself or have young or elderly family members that drive, it is even more important to be registered.

The online process is simple and you are allowed to enter two emergency contacts with three phone numbers each. Only Florida driver's licenses or Florida ID cards are able to take advantage of this service.

Is this a reflection on my driving skills????

It's a nice thought but they have to actually look at the info... we had a guy in the group have a stroke down on Bay Shore one Friday and Tampa General wouldn't even open his wallet to get his info in it. When a couple of the guys went to check on him there after we had everything put back together on Bay Shore, they had to fight with staff over this. My guys then went on line and googled his name to get his address. Drove to his place in New Port Richey and looked for clues. Tried speed dial on his phone and got his sister. Tampa General still wouldn't open his wallet even after the sister called them. She had to drive there open it up and pull out his info, ALONG with an emergency call list and a list of the meds he takes which were inside the wallet IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY...
He could have died while my guys played Cops... :(

I suspect we'll see something in the Legislature about it ... if the Dept. of Hwy is involved ... there may well be a push for it. At least the media might pick it up and if enough people do this ... and the hospitals/emergency personnel don't ... *shrugs* you connect the dots.

I just hope if anything happens I can talk and ask them why they are being stupid if they refuse to open my info.

Missed you by the way... How is it all going? :)
