Florida Directory

I realize I'm new here, but does anyone in Florida have anything to add other than just to bump this thread to the top of the list? I mean, if no one has anything to say, maybe the thread should die instead of keeping it alive artificially. The previous page was more than half filled with nothing but bumps or remarks about the bumps.

(And for you smart-asses out there, I also realize that this post is nothing more than a comment about the bumps.)

Anyone else think that 9am is way to early to be up on a Saturday, worse is, I have been up since 7.

Morning everyone. :)

Agreed, 6 is better that 3!
There is always some kind of madness around here, but my corner of the world has been nice and quiet..till now at least. :nana:

You're in Miami? Me, too!

Yes, the weather was nice yesterday. I think it's going to be another great day here. It's 77 and beautiful as I write.

I know! I just went outside to get the mail expecting all the humidity to be back in full force and nothing! Makes for a perfect day for College football, actually makes the weekend bearable.

Just got the news Tuesday that the specialist says it's fixable. Now I face major surgery to rebuild the achilles tendon on Oct 26th. Then...4 MORE months in a cast....
I feel like my life is that movie Groundhog Day. After this is done and life is back to normal it will be 9 months in a cast, almost a year gone and my job will not be there since no one holds a job that long. :p

I just walked to the mall and it is a fantastic day. Overcast, so not a good beach day, but a great day to spend some time outdoors.

Good beach day up here. You'd think it was already snow bird season and the Chamber ordered this up for them... :)

Yeah outdoors it is for me today, now it's looking a little cloudy-ish. But it'll pass I hope. I am sure by the time night time rolls around..all will be good.

Oh Starry, that's so bitter sweet. At least it's fixable though, once you are healed..things will fall back into place I am sure.

According to this specialist it is. Since he rebuilds legs and feet I'd say he knows his fruit loops from his wheaties... :)

I take it back - the sky has cleared and it looks like I'm going to get some sun after all. It's a little late to drive out to the beach, so I'll just lay in the back yard today. I'm off Tuesday so I hope the weather is as good then as it is today.

Ms_Logic, what part of Miami are you in? I don't think I've ever met anyone on Lit who was actually in this city (they're always from other parts of South Florida, but never Miami). I live near The Falls. Right across the street, in fact.
