How is everyone in the land of sunshine?... Wish we would get some rain!

Hi Hman!

I agree! But I think we'll get some soon enough.

Casper

I sure hope so.. my yard is starting to burn up all ready, and only being able to water once a week doesn't seem to help.

At least I water the garden..lol

I don't have that prob. My yard is shaded by a large tree. Even if I wanted to have grass, it wouldn't grow.

Trees

All I have are palm trees, I think about 6 different kinds.. I am on the west coast, just south of Sarasota

Welcome to the Florida Directory porphy. You might want to check out the BDSM section hun I know there are a lot of D/s people there too. Enjoy!!:rose: :rose:

krytonite

Just a question for you all...

Every time I talk to women, and they hear I'm studying engineering, it's like I pull out a chunk of kryptonite. They shrivel away as if the potential nerd stigma might rub off on them. When you hear "engineer" do you always wonder where the
horn-rimmed glasses and pocket protector are? UF has plenty of people to get to know, and apparently none of them want to know an engineer. Is every woman in Gainesville afflicted with this condition?

I am a UF student even though I am 35 years old. My major is overseen by the Business and Engineering department. You are cute and in a major in which you are obviously smart and will be successful. I would say you are talking to the wrong women hun.;)

Hi all.

I'm on the east coast of Florida.

The Treasure Coast, in fact.

And I have a palm tree, an oak tree, two pine trees, an umbrella tree, a tangelo tree and a lychee tree in my yard. :D

Anyone close to me?

thanks for the heads up

I've tried a pretty wide variety of women, but still to no avail. Nah, I'm not getting discouraged, but was just wondering, that's all. No big deal- I'm an optimist.

...And the only tree I want in my yard is a mango tree!

I live in an apartment. *shrug* But I look out my living room window at a tree.

I have a condo on the beach, and my back porch is shaded by a giant oak tree, like the one in my pants. Just kidding, it's more like a pine. By the way Wintermute, you are right, it just doesn't get much better than 69.

Hi, I live in Jax by the beach.

I'm 62 (can't call me a dirty old man, thats discrimination, I'm a soiled senior citizen)
5' 10 tall
Brown eyes
brown hair
talented tungue:p

Congratulation Tantanah!

You have such a way with words Wintermute. "Witty intercourse of conversation". I like that.

I've been very well. Excited to be approaching my 100th post. :D

Tantanah

Congrats Tantanah! :rose: Nice AV Too! Well choosen!

And thank you for the compliment on my phraseology. :D I'm in no way a lexical engineer but every now and then I can put a set of words together that doesn't make me sound illiterate and that’s all I can really ask.

Looks like I have some catching up to do. Only12 posts to go. :D

I would have to say that know a few electrical engineers, and the women who love them, that it isn't so much the nerd factor but more about how much time will you have to devote to them. Engineers tend to be focused and are so for long periods of time often neglecting thier relationships.

Just a little insight, I've spent the last 15 years working in IT in technology startups and most of the engineering groups keep couches, recliners or cots in thier office because of the hours they work during a development cycle.

I work long hours myself but these guys where there when I arrived and still there when I left at night and most of the time in on the weekends as well.

Welcome to the board Porphry!

I think you will find the right level of kink you are looking for. :D

I'm just a wee bit south of you in fact, maybe 50-60 miles tops. Next time I get up there we should meet for a cup of coffee and a bit of conversation. I love meeting new people.

I saw your pictures as well, you are quite striking. What is it about the innocent looking women that seem to have this wild, sexual side? I don't discourage it, in fact I approve immensely, I'm just tantalized by the whole notion. :)

Again I bid you welcome and don't be a stranger. ;)

We need a map.for Newbies, like me

Florida is a bigger state than I ever thought was possible. I hate to compare it to Texas because it couldn't compare :) Californicate is a good comparison, many cities, a lot of beaches, warm in the south, citrus groves, Disney.

Those of us who are new here, don't know where the cities are in relation to each other. I wish there was someway to connect the people to the map. Maybe dividing the state into parts, like panhandle, Land o lakes, and everywhere else?
