hotter than hades here too hun. I guess tampa is more like the belly button of the state...lol

haven't been to the east coast in a while, except goin on 95 to and from virginia, but i love satellite and cocoa beaches

used to surf and skimbord as a kid. only time i got to surf in tampa was when hurricane elena hit tampa bay, and the bay had 8 ft swells...lol

but hey, I'd rather be hot and tan than have to shovel my car from the snow like i did last winter in fredericksburg.

it's good to be back home with the sun and fun!!!!

You're so right about shoveling PJ. I've only had that opportunity once in my life and hated every moment of it! And then there's all the clothes ya have to wear just to go outside!
For one who grew up under a tropical sun and on the beach; its no life for me!

I'm from down south, where the Gulfstream es the east coast. Not a lot of surf here except when a cane is churning the Atlantic or when we get the nor'easters in the winter.

I'm about as close as native can get. I've lived here 31 of my 34 years, except a brief stint in the north east...lol. LIved in tampa, brooksville, ft myers. all over really. won the gainesville nationals a few years ago [advanced heavy-weight black belt division] I break boards instead of surf them now I guess....lol

whatever hppened to the NRG club that was in downtown Ft. Myers? That club rocked and the bartender was finer than frog hair!!

FM can't compare to Gville, but stay outta Dunbar, and you'll be good. Sanibel is always nice, and tampa is only about an hour and a half away if ya need to party.

Somewhere near Clearwater I figure but haven't found a place yet so not exactly sure what town. LOL They have colleges down there too and beaches and believe it or not it's not as hot in the summer! Have to love those gulf breezes.

Yeah, I like the Suncoast alot better myself. I'm in the Sarasota/Bradenton area only a big bridge away from Pinellas. The gulf breeze on a good day is like a little slice of heaven.

Oh and if I don't get the chance later, Happy Birthday Tuesday, fellow Gemini. Mine is Wednesday.
