Oww. We turned ours on last Saturday so we could take a nap in the afternoon....(long story).

We haven't had the nerve to turn it back off. No more 80 dollar power bill.......

this is a little mom-in-law apt but it has the old slat windows.
so if I managed to get a window unit in it would just be like trying to AC the whole outside.
Not worth the huge electric bill at all.

My wife & I ( o.k., kids too) did a time trial run with some of the local cycling club this evening.....OMFG; I had sweat dripping off my nose before I was a mile into it. Muggy doesn't even begin to aptly describe it....

But hey; only 3 more months of miserable, right?
