Florida Check - In

I layered up and was ok down at the drag races today. Got there at 8 am,
then once the sun started shining it wasn't too bad & even got hot with 3 layers on. :eek:

I can't believe how cold it's been - I mean I love it...but umm I'm bundling up wearing a shirt, sweater over the shirt, still getting cold, so then snuggling up w/ a warm fuzzy blanket around me...and I'm still cold -and oh I better hush :eek:

I stayed plenty warm yesterday...
got some great sun on my face & had a real fun time with all those Marines :nana:

I'm so glad we live in Florida!! I get cold just looking at the news about the cold up north and the places that are getting some bit of snow already.

I actually can't stand the Florida Heat! :mad: Haha, I'm very glad things are starting to get cooler down here and I'll be glad to see the snow when I go back up to school for winter term.

Hello Fellow Floridians
Is this the perfect weather - loving it specially with a couple extra days off. Unfortunately spent most of it in doctor's offices and radiology departments -- boo hissss..

My temps at night are around 58-60 but last night was a little windy. Well I had to make a mad dash out to walmart and I had to laugh. Coming across the parking lot in my shorts and sandals - I saw two women with the fur lined parkas bundled up like it was upstate NY - lol. Should Florida people even be allowed to own fur lined parkas? Too funny. I don't think I even own a coat.

Everyone have a great weekend and enjoy getting ready for the holiday. I'm letting Publix do my cooking this year - awesome deal (and I found some Pumpking Pie ice cream - to die for)

This should be an absolutely beautiful weekend. Hubby is hunting so I think I will paint a few rooms in the house. I like to paint when I can keep the house opened and air it out quickly.

What race track will you be enjoying outside?? and playing with Marines sounds fun!! - .... and very rewarding too! You rock for doing all you do!!!

Man- you sure keep busy - good for you!!

Sunshine drags Saturday night. Still waiting to her if I need to help with the Paws for Patriots dogs for the half marathon Sunday down town St. Pete & the Marines with the Chaplain & race car Sunday for a family fun day over on Gandy. :eek:

I had some time off this week so that's good. I used to paint a lot until I messed up the leg. Love the look & smell of a fresh painted room. I agree this is great weather to have the house open to get it dry fast & be able to air the whole place out like a new house! :)
