It seems that if you use the back and forward buttons in the Stories section too much you get the following

Flood detected from your IP address!
Please contact webmaster@literotica.com if you have questions.
The incident was logged.

After this message you can't access the site for several hours.

What is this all about and why is it such a crime, which I might add, makes you/me feel rushed in reading a fav story?

Thanks!

I've seen that a few times, but only when using the Search Stories/Members function down at the bottom of the main page.

It never happened to me when looking at stories.

And I was never blocked for a few hours. I simply went about my own business after that.

Really irritating error, this. Happens to me after I browse through eleven or twelve pages of a search.

It's because, as terrible as this seems, there are a few authors on here believed by many to be voting for their own stories, MANY hundreds of times. The message you're receiving is the effort to prevent that. Btw, it's not working.

It also happens when you search for a story. Let's say you're looking for "spanking" and there are about 20 pages listing stories with "spanking." You might advance through ten or fifteen pages, then decide to back out by clicking on the left arrow several times. You'll get the same "flood" message.

I have no idea why it's there, but it's a nuisance and should be removed.

This has happened to me too

And, it is flipping annoying.

I still don't understand why it happens, but it should be removed from the site
