Flirt!!!

:D Thanks Cleo. I didn't actually use a thesaurus... I just hate it when I am reading something and the author keeps using the same words over and over again, so I may have gone a bit overboard in my attempt to keep from doing that. LOL... actually, I had forgotten all about that nasty email. Thanks for the feedback, I appriciate it.

What nasty email?

Now I'm searching my brain to see if I ever sent Ms. Niteshade a nasty email...

My suspicion is that someone else other than you sent her a nasty e-mail.

Yeah - I can't recall doing that. Besides, I'm one for sending anonymous feedback if it's really bad. ;)

Good Afternoon!

If any of yall are bored, go check out any of the links I've put in my signature line. If you check out my pics, post something so I can reply.

Yours, Ian :rose:

Oooh, you big cop out! That's cheating.

It's not cheating - it's self-defense. Have you *read* some of those stories? I don't want those people knowing who I am...

Noooo not you... the reason I asked ya'll to read them that night was cause I got nasty feedback.

What is the contraversial story that has everyone so excited?

Yeah, I've read more than one of the stories... that's how I found this place to start with! I'm a great believer in individual taste and "voting with my feet". There are many stories I love that others don't, and vice-versa. That "individual taste" thing.

Those I like I may send positive feedback to. Those I don't get no feedback normally. (The "voting with my feet".)

it isnt controversial, really... I just asked Cleo and Pet to read my stories a few weeks ago because I had gotten a nasty email from someone.

I still don't understand why you'd get one. Unless they objected to the subject matter, but hey - if it's not your thing, don't read it.

Thanks Cleo. I didn't know why I got it, either. I had been told they were pretty good, but this person was saying that I should never had had them accepted, and that they both were childishly written, or something like that. I deleted the email forever ago, so I don't remember, really. Thank you for the kind words though :)

Just out of curiousity - do you remember who sent you the email? I'd like to see what/if they are published.

Quietly putting up the Quint-shield http://www.1st-vets.org/forum/images/smiles/icon_twisted.gif (and no, i don't mean real blue/red pencil jockies).

Those that can't, critique.

Don't fuck'em, they're not worth your time.

Edited afterthought ... you know what? One of them has a hot rating, so your critic can take a flying fuck at a rolling doughnut.

AA's absolutely right. Alert the media. ;)

I can't write a coherent thought, but I feel it necessary to tell people if their spelling/grammer/prose is "good" or not. But unlike your anonymous coward, I don't criticize negatively. If I'm going to criticize something, I may do it anonymously, but I'll always do it positively. I believe most writers want fair critical assessments of their work and besides my "opinion", I can offer valid grammatical advice.

*edited because AA so thoughtfully pointed out my glaring typographical mistake that undercut my entire statement. ;)
