I've tried mint flavored. They tasted exactly like latex with an icky hint of mint. If you need to use one for safer sex purposes, the flavored might be worth a try, but if it's just for fun, you'd probably be better off with a flavored lube or a food item.

I have used several as well. As others have said, they don't taste so great. They kinda taste like you are trying to cover up the latex taste with one of those flavored toothpastes from the dentist's office. I agree that if you are using them for safe sex purposes and can't tolerate the taste of regular condoms (spermacide does not taste very good, I'll admit), they're worth the effort. But if you are just looking to add a little fun, you probably want to look for something else. Then again, by all means, everyone has their own tastes - give 'um a try and make your own judgement.

Does she not like the taste? Have you talked with her at length about this? If you search around, you'll find a number of good, informative threads about how you can improve your "flavor" naturally (i.e. eating pineapple, etc). If talking it over with her doesn't work, then trying the flavored condoms might be a good option to try (or, like Erika suggested, a flavored lube or food item). I have tried them before and found that I much prefer the flavor of my man au natural. I've had strawberry, mint, banana and chocolate. All were disgusting. We don't need to use them, but were just experimenting to see what they'd be like - mainly to see if it would feel better or worse from his point of view. As you'd expect, it wasn't as good

Hmm if having cum in her mouth is a huge problem, she will never last long enough on a flavored condom!!!!!!!!!!! Most taste OK for a minute or two, but after about 4 minutes they taste worst than plain old latex!

It sounds like you're kind of taking a hard line on this topic. I never see it as, "I gave to you, now you should give to me"...there's more give and take than that, and oral is just ONE thing we can do to give eachother pleasure. If you have an attitude that it's her obligation to give you oral or let you come in her mouth, she's likely to rebel and be resentful. A better idea might be to tell her while it feels better to you, you know she doesn't care for it, and ask her to use her hand when you give a signal that you're getting close. Reassure her you're not going to come without warning her. In time, maybe she'll be willing to give oral to completion sometimes because she wants to. Love and sex require communication and compromise...in the grand scheme of things, is this really something to make her feel bad or fight over?

I won't exaggerate too much, I'm with the rest, flavored condoms are gross ...
One idea though - I am also like your wife in that I do not want cum in my mouth. So, what me and my fiance do is right before he is about to go, he tells me and I switch from oral to hand and guide him to cum on my breasts. It's the best of both worlds: he gets oral *almost* all the way to the end, gets to cum on my breasts, (which he enjoys anyway), and I don't get cum in my mouth. Hope that helps! Good Luck!
