As for this poll, the next time it drops off the front page, I'll PM the results to Laurel. She and Manu may have good reasons for not allowing submissions of less than 750 words. But at least they'll have some idea about the interest level among the AH crowd.

It's probably a "story processing overhead" issue. That is, approving a 300 word story takes as much time as a 1000 word story.

Why ask for a change? Just write two stories and post in one post?
