Has anyone ever shoplifted?

I did a couple times when I was a kid. I was good.

I was five when I took some rhinestones from the place my mother did pottery.

She found them in my pocket on laundry day, called me into the living room and asked me why I did it. I said the first thing that popped into my mind. "The devil made me do it"

Saying that only made my punishment worse. lol

I was grounded then she made me admit to the owners of the pottery place what I had done.

Never stole again in my life.

I should resist the urge to post here. But I'm going to anyways.
Yup, I have big time. From things that cost $5 to things that cost about $500. I took things from small to huge things that someone should have notice. Never got caught, ever.
I did this heavily for about a year...... the thrill got very very addicting. I can't even imagine the total amount of money that I've walked with. It was always in stores.. never stole anything from friends, family, or outside of a store.

I also need to mention,... It's been really long time, and this is something that I don't and won't do any longer. Though sometimes the thought enters my mind, I haven't in a long time, and would never do so again.

I had a stellar shoplifting career going in 7th Grade.

One day I was doing my Christmas Shoplifting and had some nice soaps and perfume for my mom, a tie and sox for dad, Silly String for my brothers and a Santana album for myself.

Stopping in the grocery store with my crew, we put cokes and pepperoni stix in our coats...but near the door, we got nabbed.

The others ran, but I was collared and dragged upstairs to the Manager's office.

I fessed up and the Manager said he was going to send me home in a police car. That scared me a lot, as I was a good boy.

After torturing and shaming me for about ten minutes, he let me go home alone.

He didn't look in my bookbag, thank god, but my shoplifting days ended there.

awwww *kiss*

Ok I'll admit it. I was a weird kid. When I was hmm about 15 I was in a sports collectable shop, I manged to get out with a $200 bear. He has the cutest little 49er uniform on.

I love my job I get paid to shop lift.

well actually its part of mall security testing, but I still get to go through the motions of shoplifting and get paid for it.

My best was just this summer past I went into a hardware store and left with a $3500 ride on lawnmower with bagger attachment.

drove right off the display with it no questions asked.

gotta love a dedicated fan :D

Once when I was about 5 years old. The rest of the story is more or less like His_Kitty's, only the punishment was having to go and "confess" and bring the little stuffed puppy back to the store. It was fairly humiliating and taught me not to do it again.

When I was about 7, I liberated some banana scratch-and-sniff stickers from their package in Revco. We made it to the park before my dad saw me playing with them in my pocket and asked me where they came from. I lied, said I got them for being good at school, and whether he believed me or not, he didn't ask any more questions!

A happy ending!

(And I haven't shoplifted since then.)

I've been a master booster. It all started in college when I was too broke to afford books or art/drafting supplies. So I stole them all. And when it came to everyday household items, Walmart was my favorite target. I would go in, walk straight to the sporting goods section, pick a backpack, put it on and walk through the store filling it with stuff. I never got caught.

I don't shoplift anymore because it seems kinda juvenile. If I'm going to steal anything now it has to be something big-time. Ocean's 11 style. ;)

I stole a pack of gum and a candy bar when I was 12 or something. I went back the next day and pretended that I'd forgotten to pay for them and paid for them.

I'm not good at it.

When I was in the 3rd or 4th grade I liberated some kind of toy figurine. I don't even remember what it was. Unfortunatey my older sister's friend saw me and reported back to sis who reported back to moms.

OUCH!

It takes nerves of steel and the ability to feel no guilt.

Also, it's good to adopt this mentality: "It's a victimless crime . . . Like punching someone in the dark!" -- Nelson Muntz

I remember posting that quote before. Maybe I've been here too long . . .

I hate thieves!

I think there should be a law that allows citizens to take a thief into the street and beat the living SHIT out of them in public! Beat the crap out of their knees, elbows and ears! Then explain to them very quietly that there selfish taking of the proceeds of a hard working person will no longer be accepted and if they do it again the punishment will be worse!

The second time they steal...sorry, "Hasta la vista".

Why?

I once stole a packet of cool-aid because I was thirsty and wanted my Mom to make some when we got home.

Did I "steal" it?

You are trying to justify an obviously weak argument with an absured assumption. Don't be stupid!
