Fishnets

Hey all, here is my question...How do you wear fishnets without your toes poking out? I have a really great pair of red ones that I'm dying to wear to the bar but I put them on and my toes poke out the bottoms making them horribly uncomfortable not to mention it looks goofy with my shoes. HELP!!!

I've never had that problem with fishnet hose. I can't think of much to help except perhaps wearing nude hose that will keep your toes in under the fishnet hose.

I just adjust the holes so that threads are over my toes. But they're hose with holes all over them, and toes are, on occasion, going to stick out. If it really bothers you, I'd suggest finding a tighter weave with smaller holes.

Yeah, something like that, although those are not very sexy. So I guess it depends on where you are wearing them and who's (likely) going to see you with your fishnets on and your shoes off...

Something underneath sounds like the best thing with fishnets with a larger 'grid'. I never wear fishnets but I guess I would try something like crotchless pantyhose stockings with the fishnet on top.

There are some stockings out there with different patterns printed on them. Maybe you can find one that satisfies you. You'd have the look of fishnets without the holes.

I have to second the 'pantyhose under fishnets' suggestions.

HOWEVER, a really, really cool thing I love to do is to find a flashy colored pair of tights, like red, or purple, and wear the fishnets over those. It gives you SUCH a sexy look. if you're in to that sort of look you should check it out.

i was thinking you could wear them under the fishnets? seems to me that if the nude color was anywhere near ur skin tone, underneat the 'nets, they would be just about non existant, except to someone thats seriously staring @ the toes... and when the 'nets come off, the peds would come off with also.. i bet it would work...

Nice. Once you get the toe bit sorted out (I find pairs with a seam along the toe helps keep things from shifting too much if the weave isn't too big), remember to be careful when you're walking with shoes on. Fishnets may not get runs, but the buckles/heels of shoes can cause some seriously unfortunate tears. ;_; Experience speaks.

i would go with the pantyhose footie option or something like that... basically the reason i am posting to this though is this website welovecolors.com and they have pantyhose, fishnets, bodystockings and the like in like 45 different colors! i love this site!

I usually just wear ankle socks underneath because boots are my most common form of footwear

Last year I bought a pair of fishnets that were not fishnetty just over the toes. I don't know why all fishnets don't have that!

Before I found fishnets with toes in, I used to sew into the fishnets, the toes cut out of a flesh coloured pair of tights. Its virtually invisible, and easy to do and looks better than sticky out toes.
