MY first one SUCKED....took me near 5 years to get the cover up done...I have been HOOKED ever since! I have pics up around here somewhere including getting it done....

Popping my ink cherry!!
I got my first (and only) tattoo the day I graduated from college. It is on my ankle and while I remember the pain of getting it as being and almost exciting kind of prickly throb, the thing was so friggin sore afterwards that I limped all the way up to recieve my diploma. To add insult to injury, I ended up having an allergic response to the ink and developed a painful welt over the entire area. I was on steriods for two weeks. Hence, I have never gotten another.

i remember my first well. everyone told me it'd hrut really badly and i was just really excited and it didnt' hrt at all. i loved the way it felt on my spine. twas almost erotic actually. i'm going to be getting a spinal piece over the next year or so after the baby's born and we come up with some money. it'll be time consuming and expensive but oh so worth it. i only have seven and my body looks so plain to me. i have plans for it, and finally mayhaps i'll get some of those plans done.

I remember that it didn't hurt like everyone had told me it would and it was strangely erotic to feel the needle moving over me, creating beautiful art... Everyone told me that I would get another one really quickly after the first one and I said "It has taken me this long to choose this one so no way will I find another one quickly." Sure enough, 6 months later I was walking down Hollywood Blvd, looked up and saw what I wanted as my next one Now with 4 total I'm anticipating my next...

I remembered getting mine. I have it on my left ankle and it hurt like hell! But i was with a bunch of friends so it help to talk to them to keep my mind off the pain. but i was only in pain for 45 mins.

I'm planning on getting one when I head to "the city" (yes, there really is only one in Oregon, lol) and I'm really excited about it. I've wanted one for years, but just came across the design I love enough to make it permanent

I remember my first tattoo like it was yesterday. I went to the tat place pick out the rose with ice sisal and the saying I wanted on it. They asked where I wanted it, told them my hip. It hurt for about 5 min but after that it was fine. Hurt bad for about a week afterwards, but it was worth it.
