First story...... looking for editor

Hey! So this is my first story I've decided to really attempt. I'd like to get an editor to read through it for me but really wasn't sure about just picking one from the list to try getting. I am very open to criticism and would really love the help. Also the story is a m/m romance.

Unfortunately my word has died so what I have is a docx on my tablet so I do not know how many words there are. I have the first chapter finished which is what I want looked at. Also I'd like it looked at for spelling, grammer, and continuity. It makes sense to me but I am not sure how it will read to someone else.

It would be difficult for anyone to do an edit with that platform. Standard is Word, using its tracking change system. I wouldn't fool around with anything else for a Literotica edit. Too much effort needed for both the editor and the author in cleanup.

Since it is in word format, I would be able to send you a word document. I should have my word and laptop up and running in a day or two to actually use its tracking change system.

Then you could look me up on my story page (http://www.literotica.com/stories/memberpage.php?uid=721539&page=submissions) and if it looked like I would be appropriate to edit your story, you can PM me ("private message" system in the upper right of this page) and I would give you an e-mail address to e-mail attach it to me in a Word document when you had that capability again. If I found it wasn't humongously long, I'd edit it in Word tracking change and e-mail attach it back to you. You'd clean it up, by accepting/rejecting my suggestions and submit it to Lit. through your account. I wouldn't want to be mentioned as editor, because you'd be the last one to have handled it. This would be a one-time shot. I don't edit anyone regularly here (but I am a professional book editor)--and I mostly write m/m under this name.

Sr, what is a humongously long story to you? I'm asking because more than half the stories I edit are over 10k words. I really like to edit stories that are under 4k.

I'm not wild about editing anything over 5,000 words here. I am writing constantly myself to post here.

Just bringing this forward to show that I publicly offered to do an edit off this forum less than a week ago--not that offering to do an edit is a requirement on Literotica, or that whether or not you edit for Literotica authors has anything to do with what you know about editing, or that anyone would know what my editing activity in private here was.
