Hey there,
Some time ago I wrote my first stories just to try something new. They're anything but perfect but I like them and they work for me. Now I want to take a step further. That's why I've turned to the editor program for the first time. Unfortunately, I haven't received any answers. (Yes, I checked my spam folder.)
The category is NonConsent/Reluctance, and I'd like to send the story pasted into e-mail. It's supposed to be a kind of a parody of crime stories (about 6,400 words).
English isn't my first language. My new draft contains more dialog than my previous stories. Apart from proof-reading/editing I'd particularly like someone to look over the dialogs and make them sound more true to life.
I'm not aiming for a Pulitzer Prize with my new story either. I'd like to learn something, have fun with what I'm doing, share my fantasies, and maybe entertain the readers. (As you can see from my pen name, I also take a delight in silly jokes.) Is there anybody who'd like to help me?
One last word to those who sign up to the editor program: Thank you for your willingness to help! If you offer to do a time-consuming, demanding, and skilled job for free, you'll only take on projects you'd really love to work on. That's perfectly understandable. Just let the authors know (if not impossible for some reason) and don't leave their requests unanswered.
