First Story (better folder)

Hey everyone, I've finally made the jump and wrote my first story for the site. It's half-fiction/half-true. Basically the first 70% of the story is true, but the sexual episode in it was actually a dream I had the night after the "kiss heard round the room" moment.

I feel its a pretty decent story, but I'm looking for someone else's opinion before I post it. If anyone is interested in editing it and giving me some pointers let me know. It's a little over 10 pages long in Microsoft Word Processor. Don't know how long that would make it on the site.

PS: I changed names so nobody would get hurt just incase they also check out Lit.


Also, for those wanting to know some details on the story. It's a story of a guy falling in love with his friend's girlfriend. His friend is really ungrateful, the girl is pretty well stuck in the relationship. But then there's a party and things suddenly turn, but with a twist. It's not really the traditional "guy wins girl's heart" story.

In my experience 10 pages in Word equates to 1 rather full page at Lit, maybe spilling over onto two but not by much, depending upon font and point size. More important is the word count.

Guessing I'm a glutton for punishment now, just spent most of my sick day editing a writer's two stories, one far exceeding my limit of 7k words, but I must admit it is good <wink>.

If you can wait until the end of the coming weekend, possibly the end of Monday, and if it's 7k words or less, I can probably take a look and have it returned if it's in decent shape. PM me if interested, I'll respond with instructions.

Thanks Mistress Lynn! It just seemed like I was the last shooter on the wall fighting off the invaders as they crossed the open field and absorbed my lead. Although the gyrations of their bodies was interesting, even had a few arterial squirters.

I do realize much of what is done is done in private, but I was just making sure.

I have authors that I edit for full-time that keep me quite busy. Time is also needed for my writing. Picking up others to help is hit and miss but I believe I did four this week so far with another waiting. It's not uncommon for one of my regulars to have a piece with several chapters of five thousand words or more each.

Editing, in my case, is a full time job. Every day I have 2-3 stories to edit and that's not counting the new and/or urgent requests that I get from 'old' or 'new' writers.

I've even had to cut back on taking 'new' writers that necessitated a whole lot of work because I don't have the time anymore.

Wasn't really complaining, just had a PM where a writer noticed and added something like "Gee, you sure are doing a lot of work!" or something like that which triggered my inquiry.

Just wanted to know I wasn't alone! Should've known better but the reaffirmation is nice.

I tend to keep in the background at times.
Editing was just something I did for others.
Few people knew about it, even.
Guess that's changed now...LOL

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that I am now a published writer :-D

Much thanks go out to Asylum for helping me out and looking over my story making sure it wouldn't tank haha.

Check it out, it's called "A Story of Karma". Labeled under "group sex" but it could go under a love story or something like that also. Just wanted to give the update and also encourage those who want to write a story but haven't yet. It feels amazing to see your story on a website, I keep checking to see if anyone leaves comments (none yet), but I'm just overjoyed that I have a story on a site I frequented so many times in the past couple years.

Hope whoever checks out the story enjoys it. Leave me a comment or criticism or compliment, whatever you want. I'm a very honest person, and I respect honesty from others as well.
