Because this is pretty much a board for chatting about the meaningless, and occasionally meaningful, as well as the random writing thread. You'll likely be hard pressed to find anyone with the attention span to read a whole story on a thread here.

Fret not, Mike. Sometimes it takes time. There's a lot of stories here with new ones getting added all the time. And from what I've seen with the traffic on my stories, the middle of the week isn't a big reading time for a lot of people.
