I very much prefer to get me to a salon for a Brazillian wax - no ingrown hairs, no prickly stubble when it grows (I HATE to be prickly - it's just all wrong!) and much less perilous than trying to shave my pussy and further back! Plus I have a fun therapist who tells me about naughty guys who want more than just a waxing included in their treatment, so the time passes pleasantly!

When I can't afford a Brazillian, I tend to use a little electric clipper and just go for a very short (#1) haircut for my pubes, and just shave my bikini line (which does indeed often get ingrown and irritated!).

Storm coming.....

Last Sunday we took a bottle of wine to the beach, not specifically to take photos but we took the camera along! When we got there, the skies look ominous but in a direction our weather does not usually come from. We set up on the beach, opened the wine, took a few snaps...it started to rain just a little. We conferred about whether to flee, and decided it surely would only be a brief shower. The rain rapidly got heavier, and heavier, and a cold wind sprang up...we fled for the car, soaked to the skin. We decided just to stay in the car and finish the wine...and you know how it is - all the intimacy and privacy of a parked car, fogged up windows, the sound of the rain and the ocean...let's just say...we kept ourselves well entertained.

Australia Day long weekend trip

I went away with my family for a night in the hills up behind Cairns. It was incredibly hot summer weather - about 35 degrees celcius (about 95 fahrenheit) and the humidity is about 90% at present...the wet season is about to break open and pour down upon us.

We stopped at a few scenic spots along the way, put some distance bewteen us and the teenagers and managed to sneak in a few pics...

These first ones are from Ellis Beach, which is on the highway north, heading towards Port Douglas. You can see our stinger-proof enclosure in the background of one shot - this is box jellyfish season here and the waters are treacherous. These nets don't keep out another tiny little jellyfish called irukanji, which cause a very nasty, often fatal sting. They kill you by raising your blood pressure to incredible levels. People who have been stung by them and survived recount a horrific sense of doom as part of the symptoms....I stay out of the ocean!
