Purely for the sake of information, I think she's talking about two different items. One is the butt plug, frequently in roughly a conical shape that slides into the bottom and lodges there (not permanently) with the help of generous lubricant. I'm told it can feel quite nice if properly sized and gently applied.
The balls she refers to I think are ben-wa balls, which are hollow spheres with heavy metal balls inside that are inserted (again with generous lube) into the vagina. The idea is that with normal movement walking about the inner metal ball rolls about inside the hollow sphere and generates a very subtle movement that can be quite stimulating. They generally come in pairs, connected with a string and with a loop of string on the lower ball for the purposes of removal.
