When you first came here, where did you make you're first posts? (hint- hit search under your name and then 'last' to go all the way back.)

I won't bump them:devil: but I'll post a link here, in case anyone wants to know the dumb things I said when I was new!

loving wives vs cheating wives

somethings been bugging me (writing to music)

flash fiction challenge (started by killer muffin)

I guess I once was interested in 'serious writerly topics':)

these days all I seem to do is crack jokes, flirt and cause trouble:D

I tried about six times to post to the "Erotic Illustrations" section. I didn't know it had fallen into abeyance.

I'm confused. (Probably because I don't know what 'abeyance' means.) There was a category just for illo that doesn't exist any more? when was that?

My first post was to one of Perdita's threads something like "We have democracy" and showed my total ignorance by ascribing her name to Terry Pratchett!

Not improved much - still a country hick from Scotland.

It's still there. Someone's probably trying to submit drawings to it right now.

Check the Story Index page, and scroll down beyond the sex-news links just a line or three.

Not updated for years.

My first ridiculously loquacious reply was to Pinkstarfish's Peeing thread...yeah I'm a freak....

I lurked here for nearly three months before i ever posted under this nick.
you can learn alot when youre silent.
does that mean im not learning now? hrm...

I've only been here for about a week. Since Rumple told me to get my butt over here.
Chances are pretty good that I'll wander off eventually. And then wander back in whenever the whim strikes me.

I think my first posts after a defense of chivalry and a few assumptions that I was female were arguments against amicus back when amicus was fairly new too.

You were the Man, Luc.

Of La Mancha, though, unfortunately. In those days, amicus was the ellipsis monster and no one could pin down what the fuck he was saying, even. A windmill. And you tilted nobly at him. Everyone takes a turn!

With my faithful steed and squire I was set for any foray. On Sancho Panza, for Dulcinea, and adventure!

First post was to the depression thread. Then I jumped into the fray on the Political Ass thread.

MysteryWriter: Dammit I dont have enough distractions

My last feedback asked my sex. I had to admit it was a long time ago....does it appear I am putting off going back to my novel... well if you had a hero stranded in West Virginia you would delay it too trust me.......

Not if you liked your hero. RF

ps: It may be worth noting, that this, my first AH post, was also a thread killer. Some things never change. RF

My first posts were over on the UK personals thread that knocked about on the personale section. I masde my introductions and was soon enbroiled in a public orgy. great fun.
I'd have to dig a bit to find my first post here on the AH though. I'll come back later when I find it *L*

E_L, I just don't understand the post title with all the 22 and bb. What happened? Am I just too dense to get an obvious meaning? Wouldn't be the first time for that.

Late starter

It took me some time after joining Lit and posting stories before I found the Author's Hangout.

Even then I lurked for a while. This, in 2003, was one of my first posts on votes and feedback:

***
I like having scores above 4.00 but the scores I have below 3.00 are deserved because my titles and description promised more than the story delivered.

So I find a low score useful. It tells me I have done something wrong and not met the readers' expectation.

I also post on Yahoo groups. From them, with a few shining exceptions, I rarely get any feedback. The score system and feedback from Literotica members even if anonymous has helped me to write what I think (and the scores seem to agree) better stories.

One personal moan is the way some authors divide their stories into chapters with votes on each chapter. The way I write, if I split some of my stories into such small chunks, some chapters would get a resounding "1" because there is little of sexual interest even if the chapter develops the plotline.

Sometimes I get the usual anonymous flames but I don't object. Why should I? I must have generated some interest even to get the sender to write a flame.

What I find difficult as a reader is accurately assessing a story that has activities that I don't find attractive. If the story covers sexual activities that don't interest me then I so far I've just left it without voting even if it is well written and a good story. For example, since I am straight, I find it very difficult to be objective about a story with a gay theme.

I think I ought to vote more often and write feedback to more authors. If I like feedback, then I should try to give more to others.

who doesn't have a quote or signature file because I write too much anyway.

The last part is still true even if I do have a quote and signature.
