First ever poem

Well i read it and I liked it.

Lots of description, emotion and mucking about with imagery... everything i want from a poem really!

It came over as being from the heart and i think that is what counts really...

As for being someone who knows what brought out that poem, I will say two things:

  1. It's a very nice poem. I like it. Very personal, very much from the heart.
  2. I'm sorry I've made fun of you for your age. It has never been my intention to make you feel bad, and I want you to know that I don't think of you as an immature kid. I was surprised to know that you're so young, because when I had read your earlier posts, I had come to imagine you as much older than 19.

Well, Earl, you and me, we're kind of brothers. English. Dwarfers. Young. Maybe its everyone else who is wrong. You certainly state your/our case very well. Its a cool poem.

Keep writing. You've less than a year left for teenage angst, and then its ages until you get to have a mid-life crisis. They're shit for most people, but golden for writers...

I'm 23 and personally can't wait to have a midlife crises. By then maybe I'll have enough money to buy all the toy I want now (motorcycles, boats, ect.).

My midlife crisis came when I was 25. I'm looking forward to being a dirty old man, now.

PS I sent you some feedback.

Thanks all. Glad to see that my unappreciated gift is liked :D.

I am actually planning early for my mid-life crisis. 22 diaries, and enough money to buy a flashy sports car.

Crisis? What Crisis??

My mid-life crisis coincided exactly with discovering Literoica. Go figure.

BTW I'm enjoying it immensely.
