Okay, well I am not in CHARGE of everything, but I have a lot of authority actually over a major revamp of our store of slide resources for our department. OSU holds the copyright to all the slides we have, so we can't use them, without permission, and if I do, then I have to deal with those appeals. We are making CD Roms of those slides, for students to buy and use and most of the money, due to royalties, will go to OSU, BUT what I am so fucking happy about is....
Because I thought ahead, and took pictures all last spring, summer and fall, I have a database of plants that is shy by only about an eighth of all that we cover in our program, the director of my program wants me to make interactive software geared toward our program, and what is cool is that I didn't waste my time! and I HOLD THE COPYRIGHT, so I get royalties, and plus it is going as my Independant Study Capstone.
Really, it is cool to me to get my work published, which is what this means, and I am going pro with my art at the same time.
Things are looking up.
I just hope that other schools across the country might buy my software for thier students in the future, and HELP ME PAY OFF MY LOANS!!!!

Oh, well, I guess that I should mention that I won't be around much, because I have to work full time and go to school full time, and with this project, and my art.... well... who knows?
