There isn't a category in the annual Lit contest for Most Supportive Writer, so I thought I'd start our own. It's not a contest, really, just an opportunity for us to publicly thank the people who have made a difference to us during the year through the support they have provided.

I'd like to give my thanks to rgraham. Not only has Rob read my stories (!), but he has also encouraged me as I've tried to take my erotica in a different direction. Without his unflagging support, I may have given up somewhere along the way.

Thanks, Rob! You're my contest winner!

Agreed - Rob, you're tops!

I also appreciate the writing support I've received this year from Colly, Zoot, cloudy, Shang, and Bel.

Colly, for continually telling me I'm wrong, and the suckage isn't as bad as I think it is. ;)

Bel & Imp, for helping with my amatuerish attempts at poetry.

Rob, for faithfully reading, voting, commenting on every damn thing I produce, trash or treasure.

Dran, because.

Abs, because she's the keeper of my sanity.

I've gotten a lot of good advice from a lot of good people that frequent the AH as well as other forums on Lit. To name just a few would be entirely too exclusive. I think we all rock in our own way and each of us has supported someone else in one way or another, by reading, voting, commenting, editing, and/or offering some constructive criticism.

So, I nominate each and every one of us in the Lit community. :rose:

i'd like to thank all my fans, the producers, the directors, my agent...

Oh, wait. Wrong awards.

Shang, Rob, and Chris especially. They've had the most influence on my stories this past year. There was one person that helped with my one lonely poem, but i cannot for the life of me recall a name.... But that name belongs here too.

Stella_Omega, she gave me a hand on the story I'm expecting to be posted any day, letting me know that it had the feel of the period I was going for. :kiss:es Stella

Also, I wanted to thank all the wonderful people who so willingly answered my, possibly annoying, period questions about booze and lubes. :rose:es for all.
I sooo suck at googling but I'm very good at finding pics, so if you're ever looking for something and having trouble, call on me! :D

 Thanks LadyJ.

And everyone else. I'm glad to know that I can help the many excellent writers here.

For me, there are many. But I'll pick Penelope Street for her unflagging support. She's done yeoman service on my behalf.

All the people who are regulars in Abs have been a great help as well.

And lilredjammies for her ability to keep a smile on my face.

Oh and LadyJ? I've finally gotten back to work on the story you inspired. Should be ready in another day or two. I hope. ;)

I've always been impressed with the abilities of most of the writers at Literotica to take a second and answer a question or give an opinion. So I also think an award like that should be a generous pat on the back to you all. And a big thanks from me. :nana: :rose: :rose:

It's a tie for me...

I am so very grateful to both Penny and Doc
for their wisdom, patience & support

...may I have the envelope please...

I would nominate two gifted authors from this site that over my tenure here have managed to convince that there is a writer lurking within me, and that just might be able to write....so I would like to say thankyou to these two great people, and thank them for all that they have done for me....

:rose: Goldeniangel :rose:

and

:rose: Daniellekitten :rose:

...without them I think I would have given up trying to write.

Rumple gets my nod. Always there to look over my scribblings.

Rob too, always reads & comments. And he took on my novel with courage. Knowing it wasn't his cup of tea, he still provided valuable comments.

Min & Mats also, for unfailingly giving of themselves with comments and proof reads.

Ahhh, yet another thread where I can post

I  rumply

Rumple Foreskin is the most patient proof reader i have ever encountered, he edits me time after time, points out the same mistakes i make over and over and he does it gently, sweetly and never harshly. ( Look, I've not used a single exclaimation mark yet, aren't you proud?)

And Dreampilot always jumps at the chance to read me over *grins* and gives goood comment too.

Thanks guys!

Just try and STOP us! I want to thank Penelope, for all the reasons already given, Diva and Abs for double-teaming me when I needed it most And the people who have taken a moment to stop and read- and comment. More than anything else, what a ovely gift that is!

And Shang for the pony rides :D

Rumpy
Rob
SV/Crim
Chris44
entitled
Auntie Mat

in one way or another have made me keep writing... love you all

I agree with EL
A thread I can post to without having to pick 'one'.
I'm still new so, fewer stories, fewer people to help, rather than some of the prolific people who have lots of stories, so I can still 'keep up' with the wonderful help and guidence where I have been the beneficiary . I am always amazed at the quality and quantity of help, freely offered, and freely given.

Rump
Ogg
Miss Candy
Lady Cibelle
Stella
Imp

but these two,who repeatedly claim to 'not' be editors have repeatedly been everything anyone could ask for in sharing their invaluable knowledge, guidence and assistance:

Colly
Abs

Thank you all.
:rose:
Hugo

My PGTW series wouldn't have been as good and as well received as they were without the invaluable help from Cloudy.

She held my hand every step of the way and walked me through the process of writing, not once letting go of me or telling me I was bothering her.

She showed me, helped me, taught me so much...it would take a few months for me to describe it all....let it just be known that the world is a better place and I'm a better person and writer because she took the time to help me when I asked.

There are several that I would have to mention here:
Imp, Cloudy, Rumple, Carson, McKenna (remember all those great threads with writing tips?), Mat, The Earl (who gives great edits :D), Softouch (who doesn't post here lately but is my editor and is fabulous on many levels), and Rob.

Who'd I miss??

The horse for patient and insightful editing of the few things I actually wrote. :)
The gosling for cheerleading. ;)

And a general Big Fat Kudos, to Imp for the anthology project.

A few days ago Rhys helped me work out the plot issues that have been backing me into a corner for months. Hurray! Now I can move on past the sex and write the plot. :)

And of course Shanglan, as always

Agreed. All hail Imp, the Goddess of Anthologies. Thank you. :rose:es

Cantdog for me; he's one of three people in the world who can play with my words anytime he wants. Thanks, Cant.

I nominate Crim for having such an attractive AV and all the work she did during the month of Na No November :rose:

YES!! I'm very proud!!!
But I'm not at all surprised, EL.

Thanks to those who mentioned my name. But, truth be told, helping other writers, especially here at the AH, usually helps me just as much.

Many, many other folks have helped me over the years, going back into the misty past and KillerMuffin. Since then, other brave (foolish) souls such as Zoot and Colly have done their best to make my prose passable. This year, DreamPilot and I got into a long back-and-forth on my hoilday entry. I think he was amazed six pages of prose could need so much help. But thanks to his tireless help, the sucker turned out to be almost readable.

By the way, has anyone heard from him recently?

Rumple Foreskin

I hope you're referring to a sequal to the story I've been nagging you to continue with. *stern look*
