Finding the beast (Closed for Mayu)

[Mayu]

Maggie sighed some "Logan you worry to much, I'm still alive" She walked into the mansion. She wondered if anyone knew of her here. Course a street name of Dove was pretty local, her arm was hurting but she wasn't letting anyone know that. Well Xavier may know it, but she didn't want Logan of all people to know. People looked at her strangely. "I hope these kids know I mean no harm"

Logan

"I think more they are wondering what you are doing along with a guy who seemed to have been caught in a firestorm. They are taught not to fear humans, but rather accept and love them. Of course some of them do not wish to listen to that teachings."

 

[Mayu]

She smiled "I can see why some do not listen, some mutants don't believe humans know how they feel. Least I do, but thats with having many friends who aren't human. Humans fear what they cannot understand or control and its pathetic, there is enough pain in the world then adding to it with hate."

Logan

"And even when humans think that they are in control they are not. Strange how that works right?"

He chuckled as he hustled her into the infirmary and without ceremony forced her to lie down.

"Don't want you passing out when all those adrenaline and all other sorts of orfins works out."

 

[Mayu]

She didn't fuss and did what he told her to do, she looked down at her arm it was in bad shape. But to help him it was worth it. She looked up at Logan and smiled "I'm not going to pass out, you worry way to much Logan. I maybe human but I'm not a pussy" She smirked.

Logan

He chuckled softly,

"All humans have their threshold as do us mutants. Now hush and let Hank look after you. Hey furball, in case you haven't noticed the young lady needs help."

Beast came over, grumbling,

"Then stand aside Logan, I can't work with you fussing around."

 

[Mayu]

She giggled a little and looked at Hank "Thank you for helping Hank I really appreciate it, and it is also a great pleasure to meet you. Ive read some of your work, you have a brilliant mind" She bowed her head in respect to Hank.

Logan

"Don't inflate his head any further, the furball is sticking to the ceilings already."

Beast chuckled as he worked on Maggie,

"You will just never let that go will you Logan?"

Logan grinned,

"It's part of my charm fancy pants."

 

[Mayu]

Maggie laughed listing to what Logan was saying to him, she thought calling him a fur ball funny and sweet.

"You should correct yourself Logan, that is a big fur ball" She giggled .

"Logan doesn't let anything go, I like that in him."

Logan

"Of course not, I'm not called Wolverine just because I'm furry,"

he chuckled and watched as Beast finished up with Maggie's arm.

"Well then, I guess my old pad is still available?"

Beast nodded,

"And it's been cleaned regularly, strange how Charles would rather build extra rooms than give the old ones away. Well then young lady, time for you to rest a bit and then get some food inside of you. With enough rest that arm should heal up nicely, unfortunately not as fast as Logan's, but much faster than it normally would."

 

[Mayu]

She laughed "No I know why your called Wolverine Logan, Ive seen you fight and with your senses better then an average persons" She said kindly. She nodded at Hank and sighed a bit, she looked down at her arm. "I'll live, Ive been through worse then this. It's not the first time Ive been cut down to the bone, hence my scars you have seen Logan" She said with a grin.

Logan

He returned the grin and helped her off the bed,

"Thanks Hank, you're alright...for a furball."

Beast just chuckled and Logan lead Maggie to his old room, the one he got the first day he joined the X-Men.

 

[Mayu]

She smiled once alone in his room she looked outside seeing the students and was very happy. Looking down at her arm she smiled. "He knew...." She said softly. "Charles knew I was the only one who could handle you, he called to me and part of you called to me as well" She turned and smiled. She walked up to him and wrapped her arms around him "But I wasn't going to loose you"

Logan

He held her to him,

"Xavier does that sometimes, he is a strange man in some ways. I think that he knows more about us than he wishes to let us or anybody else know. Let's just happen that it doesn't happen again."

 

[Mayu]

She smiled "He is a very wise man Logan" Maggie said "I'm not like Jean, Logan, I'm not going to turn into some super being and leave you. I felt your pain, seeing your friends hurt afraid of losing more life. I'm the only human trusted at this point, which is another reason why Charles called for me, because he knows id never harm innocent life mutant or not"

Logan

"More like he knew that I would have destroyed most of the estate without realizing it."

 

[Mayu]

She smiled looking at him and smirked "That to" She said simply, she sat down on the bed and patted for him to sit.

Logan

He glanced out of the window, noticing some students standing at the fountain, how quickly life continued. He would probably be needed a bit later on for the clean up, but for now he had time. He sat down next to Maggie

 

[Mayu]

She smiled at him, enjoying the feeling she had with him, resting her head on his shoulder, she looked up at him. "I'm glad things worked out, I don't want to lose you"

Logan

He rested his arm around her,

"I'm sure that would not happen any time in the near future."

 

[Mayu]

She smiled at Logan "True my big grizzly bear" She giggled lovingly and kissed him. "I don't know about you but I'm tired out" She said lovingly.

Logan

He smiled at her,

"I'm still fine, why don't you rest? I'll stay with you until we start to clean up this mess."

 

[Mayu]

She kicked off her shoes and laid down on his bed

"Awww yes cleaning up after our mess" She giggled lovingly.

"I'm tired out yet your mind is racing isn't it?"

Logan

He smiled and brushed his fingertips over her cheek,

"Of course it is my dear, now you rest your pretty little head, I'll be here."

 

[Mayu]

She smiled as she looked at him and nodded, closing her eyes she sighed a little. Sleeping through the night everything was perfect. Relaxing a bit she started to wake up, stretching she noticed she was alone. She figured maybe Xavier was doing something with him, she left his room and heard a voice so she followed and noticed Xavier and Logan, she smiled as she walked up to them.

"Hey Logan" She smiled wrapping her good arm around him.

"Good morning Professor" She said kindly.
