Finding the beast (Closed for Mayu)

Maggie smiled looking at him and shrugged "I dunno, course you were out for a while. But I made plenty so eat as much as you like" Maggie said with a soft smile on her face, looking at Logan, grinning happily.

Logan

He continued to eat, taking his time to savor the meat and the sauce

"You know, you make a mean meal yourself"

He continued eating and watched her

"So what would you like to know? I'm sure there is some questions floating around inside that mind of yours"

She smiled happy he was enjoying dinner, but when he said what she did Maggie laughed softly. "I was about to say the same thing, if you have any questions about me. But there is two questions for you, how long have you lived in the woods. And why did you decide to leave the school?" Maggie asked.

Logan

He stuck a fork full of spaghetti in his mouth and chewed on it as he considered her question

"I tend to lose track of time out there...I think it's been...six years now? Yeah I'd guess it's around six years"

He broke a part of a meatball off with his fork and sat there thinking

"Well to be honest, there was to many things there which had reminded me of Jean. Even as just a team mate it still hurt, God knows what Scott had to go through, but I didn't need to suffer, I just left"

Maggie nodded "Yeah I know, I heard about Jean and I am sorry for your loss and Scott's. I know how hard it is to lose someone close to you. I blamed myself for my parents death for years, until I finally got it drilled into my head that it was not my fault"

Logan

"That is easier to do when you are not the one who killed them. I had to practically stab her, there was no other way to stop her..."

Logan sighed and then smiled

"Dark thoughts that I've been over way too much"

She looked down for a moment thinking "Seems we have much in common, Ive never told anyone my reason why I have been working with mutants since I was ten." Taking a sip of her beer she sighed looking outside. "I had a friend once, her name was Lily, her gift was going through walls. So many were afraid of her but I wasn't, but one day she called me, upset. When I got to her she was in the park, horribly beaten, about an hour later she was pronounced dead. It was then I knew people were beyond vicious. It was then I asked my father to be taught how to fight, and when I was twelve my father developed my weapon that was made from you really. It is so hard not to hate everyone, but I no longer feel hate just sorrow on how stupid most humans are. "

Logan

"Hate...actually one of the most petty feelings there is"

Logan finished off his food

"Didn't the best love story also state the same? That one's biggest love can spring from one's biggest hate?"

He sat back in his chair and looked at her

"Lily is a perfect example of the hate people harbor inside of them, something that grows ugly and fester until it explodes..."

He started to laugh

"I've been listening to Xavier for far too long"

She had finished off her food at the same time he did, taking the dishes she put them in the dish washer and thought for a moment.

"We are not so different, that is what scares me. Mutants have powers, well humans have weapons. And what humans cannot control they are afraid of, I was called a mutant lover but I held my head up high. No one tells me how to think and how to feel." Looking at him.

"Humans fear you most Logan, taken from your life and made into a weapon created by a human and you are not controlled by the scientists hands. And what they called you was even more insulting, I am glad there are people out there like you. People see you a monster, but I see a man plan and simple" She walked over to him and wrapped her arms around him.

"So we are in this together and you know me I hold one hell of a punch"

Logan

He held her close, taking in her smell, her firm body against his, he could feel his emotions starting to overcome him and that wasn't always a good thing...not in this case at least...or maybe it was. He grinned and gave her ass a playful pat

"At least not all people like me is so lucky to get hugs from such a lovely young lady"

She laughed some, looking at him she couldn't help but wonder what was on his mind. Bending down a bit more she kissed him. She sat down on his lap and grinned at him. "What on the great Wolverines mind?" Maggie asked with a loving stare.

Logan

"That is things that is best not shared with such delicate minds as yours"

He chuckled and ran his fingers through her hair, then pulled her towards him and kissed her deeply

She was surprised by the kiss, she closed her eyes as she relaxed in his lap, Maggie was enjoying being so close to him, she was content and very happy.

Logan

She didn't pull away and he wasn't going to stop any time soon, she tasted great and he loved the feel of her lips against his and her hair brushing over his fingers

Maggie enjoyed his touch, he was a very gentle guy for someone who was supposed to be a nasty person. He was a big grizzly bear who really was gentle, least he was gentle for her. He had so much power to harm her but she trusted him completely.

Logan

The kiss ended after a while and Logan gave her a smile

"Something along those lines my mind had wandered"

He kept stroking her hair, it's been too long since he could feel the silky smoothness of a woman's hair against his fingers.

Maggie smiled at him and heard what he said, she wondered what he meant, but figured he would say something, Maggie had never felt anything like this before.

Logan

He stroked his fingertips over her cheek, looking into her eyes

"Do you know just what a wonderful woman you are Maggie?"

Maggie looked down blushing, she shrugged her shoulders "I'm just a normal person, one who has been through hell, ive been shot and stabbed, plus burned no thanks to that kid Pyro." Slowly standing up, she walked over to the window.

"Ive always had to fight alone, I have parents but they are in Russia right now. They call me and write me, but its not the same you know. They know what I am doing here in New York, there is one thing my father sent me. Before he left the Weapon X Program, there is one copy of you. Your weaknesses and your strength" She pulled out a thick folder.

"You can do what ever you like with it, the government has nothing on you know. My father saw to that, lets just say when my father is lied to, he can be one nasty son of a bitch" She laughed.

"My weakness...oh that is easy. Long distance assault and when knocked unconscious remove head and take it far away from my body"

He chuckled

"I read the Xavier protocols, he just doesn't know that I know. The thing with the government is that they don't understand that I am not to be controlled like they want to control me. I am a beast of a whole different nature"

He got up and went to stand next to her, looking out of the window with her

Maggie smiled "You could kill me quickly and without me knowing, like the government wants. Yet you wont because your like a lot of other people. You just want to be treated the same as humans, when I look at you I can almost feel your pain Logan. You have seen so many horrible but wonderful things as well. But you have seen what I can do, and hell will freeze over before I let the government get there hands on you again. Because I will always be there"

Logan

Not always, by the time he grew old, she would be another fond memory, but he smiled at her

"Attaché par l'amour, tempéré par la passion"

He chuckled and looked outside again

She smiled " ; La plus grande chose que vous pouvez jamais apprendre est d'aimer et être en échange " aimé ;" She replied and sighed. "I never thought id find myself in love, ive always been afraid of what a man would say about my body. With all the scars that I have, I see myself as a butchured ham"

Logan

"Et quand vous êtes aimés vous vous aimeriez"

He looked over at her

"Scars carries a story, it adds to your personality, so why would it be a problem at all?"

Walking over to the wall she had a big picture of herself with her friend who died. "Reminds me to much of my past, those who I failed who I wasn't strong enough for. I maybe called Dove to many mutants, but I am not very peaceful" Sitting down she noticed her guitar, she hadn't touched it in over a year. Picking it up she began to play a song she had writen, of all her emotions how she handles things, as she sang softly.
