He locked the door and led her into the woods again, heading higher up, he helped her at some difficult spots, but overall she kept up very well, maybe one day she will be able to run with the wolves, he grinned at the thought. He sniffed the air and smiled at her, we are almost there

He stopped and turned to her
"Get ready for this"
He pushed some of the more dense foliage aside and lead her into the grassy bank of pool, from which a stream flowed, the pool was fed by a waterfall, not very high, but still beautiful in it's own way. Logan grinned at Maggie

He smiled and started to strip down to his underwear and strode into the water, when he got waist deep he dove under the water and came up again, he turned to face her

"Where do you think I catch fish? I don't want them to think I'm an all you can eat buffet"
He moved over to the waterfall and stood under the water as it fell over him, it was cool and refreshing just what the doctor ordered. He then waded out, the water luckily not reaching higher than his mouth
"See? I sink like a rock, but it's still nice to come out here"
He chuckled

"Kind of hard for me to die from drowning, I do pass out from lack of oxygen though, but once I get out of the water, my healing kicks in and the water gets worked out of my lungs and I can breathe again"
He narrowed his eyes as a shadow flitted through the trees
"Get behind the waterfall, something isn't right"
He started to wade towards the bank, turning his head to look at her
"And don't argue with me, get behind the waterfall"
He gave her a smile

He sniffed, there was others here
"Target acquired"
With a snarl he ran out of the pool, ducking under net that was fired at him, a loud SNICKT spelled doom for the intruders. How they found him, he didn't know and he wasn't going to ask questions...well not now at least. The first black clad figure found a gut full of steel available in aisle Logan, he growled as he turned and left the screaming man writhing on the ground, distract, get close. Kill. Following his very reliable sense of smell he tracked down the men one by one, killing them quickly and silently, then a voice rang out
"Logan! Gave up, we have a bead on her and we will kill her"
He growled softly as he looked at the pool and found seven men standing on the water's edge, their guns trained at the pool, he knew that Maggie didn't stand much of a chance
"Just come along peacefully and we will forget that she was here"
He sighed, he didn't have too much of a choice, he stepped into the clearing, surprising most of the group and a man wearing a black balaclava came out from the tree line
"Bind him, keep those guns trained on her, if you see as much as a movement that looks strange shoot"
Logan allowed them to chain and cuff him
"How did you find me?"
"We've been tracking you for two years now, she just made it easier, because you so love your innocent bystanders"
He spoke into the communicator on his wrist
"Package secured"
A black painted helicopter arrived shortly and as it hovered Logan got hooked and winched inside where he was tied even more securely. Shortly the remainder of the team joined them and the leader looked at Logan
"As you can see I am a man of my word"
He closed the door and the helicopter banked and flew away, Logan tested his bonds. These guys knew how to tie a guy up, he knew he wouldn't get answers from them so he sat back and realized that he was still in his underwear, he chuckled at the thought and wiggled his toes
"Hey, you didn't tie those down"

Everything was happining way to fast, who were these men? But she watched with horror as they took him away, guns had been pointed at her and knew she could fight hand to hand, not fight hand to gun. After they left, she got out and got dressed, the men Logan attacked died, except for one. She knew what she had to do, she reached into her pocket and pushed a button. Taking out what looked like a watch, and knew where he was. She went into Logans home and grabbed some clothing for him, and grabbed a bag as well. Stuffing everything in the bag as she ran out of the forest, it took two hours to get home. She got dressed in all black and went into her garage and removed a sheet from her motorcycle.
It to was black and it was special made, it was hard to hear any sounds from the bike. And she went off like a bat out of hell, finally when she got close to the building she stopped and hid her bike behind some bushes, putting her helemt on the bike as well. She slipped in and looked around, she noticed a vent and knew she could move through that easily. She got up on a desk and got into a vent that way.
She heard some conversations and ended up stopping to one and over heard what they were going to do to Logan, to study him again. Maggie narrowed her eyes and followed the researcher. But then the others, she promised Logan she would contact Xavier. Taking out her cell phone she called the school.
"Professor Xavier, my name is Maggie Wolf. I am friends with Logan and he is in trouble, we are three miles away from your school, its a building that looks like a factory on 11th main street. I am not sure if I can get him out myself, you may want to send back up" She hung up and finally found the room he was in. Coming to the end of the vent she slowly and carefully removed the screen making sure not to scratch or bump into it. Slidding out of the vent she landed on her feet and stayed in the dark, waiting for the people to leave.

They had shot him up with so many tranquilizers that even a blue whale would have died from it, but while he was groggy and half asleep an hour ago, he was coming around now. More tests they said, like Project X didn't do enough tests on him yet. He kept his pose of being drugged, he was waiting for the perfect...then her smell wafted through the vent system, he didn't dare lift his head to look, but he heard her, it was definitely Maggie. How did she? Then he remembered the bug she planted on his dog tags, what a smart girl

Finally they left, she watched as the door shut off, before she moved however she looked to see if there were camreas, there was one. Staying in the dark she took her necklace off her neck, swung it and cut the video camrea off. She ran up to Logan and began to undo the restraints. "I called Xavier, he is expecting us" She smiled at him "Are you able to walk?"

"Really just because I'm short it doesn't mean they cramp up, the idiots"
He gave Maggie a grin
"Oh I can walk, I can fight actually they got me to sleep for some time so I'm rested out as is"
He looked up where she came from
"I am not going to fit in there"
"No need to Wolverine, just walk out of the place, I have it under control"
Logan narrowed his eyes
"Right, let's walk out of here like my old pal Xavier just said"
They moved to the door and peeked outside to see everybody frozen
"Heh, so much for spilling blood, let's go"

She smiled and laughed at what he said about the vent, but when they left the room everyone had frozen. "Frozen people, creepy I wouldn't mind that power" Maggie chuckled and saw him and two other's with him. "so I finally get to meet Xavier, Gambit who I hear is a smooth talker and Cyclops. Thanks for the help"

Logan nodded his head at them and Remy gave a small whistle
"Say is that what you've been keepin' yaself up'n the mountins ey?"
Logan gave him a flat stare
"I met her yesterday Remy"
"An already she is riskin' her butt fer ya?"
Remy gave a chuckle
"Sexy butt from wher' I'm standin'"
"That's enough for now Gambit, Maggie I'm glad to know Logan still makes friends even though he is a bit of a grump these days"
Logan was not really listening as he was looking at Scott, the last time they saw each other they had a huge fight about Jean. Scott believed she could be saved and almost died in the process of trying. The tension was almost palpable and Logan sensed Xavier's concern, then Scott smiled

"Could've been better circumstances, but good to see you guys too"

Logan nodded his head at them and Remy gave a small whistle

She smiled looking at everyone "All Logan needed was a beautiful woman to get him going" She chuckled a bit and noticed the Tension between Logan and Scott. "No fighting Logan, I think we have had enough for a while' She wrapped her arm around his and looked at the others. "Thanks for coming, I bugged Logan's dog tags and promised id call you if something happened. Unfortunately though dear Logan here is going to have to get the bug out of you so they can't track you again, and people call mutants monsters. Mutants are not guinea pigs" She sighed.

She smiled and thanked the three of them, Maggie looked at Logan and nodded. Heading out of the building she walked to her bike and pushed it out of the bush. Putting on her helmet since she didn't have a healing ability if she got hurt and got on. "Come on hot stuff" Maggie said but laughed as she said it, watching him with a grin.

She smiled looking at him "Thanks, custom made" She twisted the handle and took off for her home. It was ten minutes away from the building, but appearing the apartment looked big, but it was two building, put together seperated by one door. Once in the garage she sighed. "I have a special underground rail road if you want to call it that way" She said once she parked the bike and got off looking at Logan, removing her helmet. "To many mutants i'm known as Dove because the bird means peace. My aparment is two apartments put together, seperated by a door. It's home to a few homeless mutants" She said kindly.

She smiled and gave him the bag "Yeah sorry I grabbed your cloths, with the heat of the moment I forgot" She laughed "Sorry" She cleared her throat and showed him in. "Besides I like seeing you nearly naked " She winked and went into the fridge to get two beers.
