I sent a message to a volunteer editor. But I can't see anywhere on the site a place to look for a response. Can anyone tell me where to look for a response if I get one?

Do you mean you used the envelope icon at the upper right, here in the forums? When you get a reply, that will be marked with red. As I am quoting you here, you will get that same kind of red mark on the bell symbol next to it. Click on those to see the details.

If you used the messaging system over on the story side, that goes via e-mail and has to be moderated, so the person won't get it for about a day. Then they would have to do the same to reply to you. It's much less efficient.

Thank you for a very fast reply. I clicked on one of the story editor volunteers link and asked if they would be interested in reviewing my new draft story. I can't see any place to look for a reply. I did not use this forum and the envelope you mentioned.

Do you have a working email address set up with Lit? The volunteer editor program sends an email to them, and when they reply, it will be directly to your listed email.

No response is very common among volunteer editors. People forget to remove themselves.

And… Email doesn’t work for lots of people. The site is falling apart in multiple ways (email Is just one) and they don’t know how to fix it.

So there’s some unknown degree of chance the editor doesn’t get their emails. similar chance one replied and you don’t get yours.

Wish it were better news.

Yes, I have an email address with Literotica. I've gotten nothing back to that address. I guess your caution about poor responses is warranted. Too bad. Thanks for the replies.
