Finals

I noticed there are a lot of us college folk on the boards and since finals are upon us, I thought I'd provide a place where we could come and bitch. So, if you're stressed out about finals, if you want to regail everyone with how much studying you have to do, or if you just want a place to go to AVOID your studying, you are welcome here.

Please let us know what year you're in, your major, and what classes you're taking (if you're so inclined. If not, don't worry about it. It's just for fun.)

I'm finishing my second semester as a freshman. My major is Criminal Justice. This semester, I'm taking 16 hours: English Comp I, Algebra, American History II, Criminology and Deviance, Serial Killers, and Lifetime Fitness.

Currently, I'm stressed out and pissed off because I have a final portfolio due in English that requires revisions that I'm not entirely sure need to be made, along with a final essay about the evolution of my writing and a comprehensive exam. It's more annoying than anything.

Anyway, rant away . . .

Actually I flunked it after only submitting one gruesome murder. You needed at least three.

Finals by proxy

My examinations were a long time ago but my youngest daughter is taking her finals shortly after six years of study. She already has her B.Sc in Microbiology.

When she passes (Dad is confident even if she isn't) she will be a doctor (M.B) facing hard work in a National Health Service hospital before she can do what she really wants to do and become a family doctor.

Eight years from school until she gets to achieve her ambition seems a very long (and expensive) time.

I don't have finals but I have to defend my thesis this coming week and then all the fun stuff that Dr. F has to do. Can't wait till all the work is done and I can finally breath.
