Anyone watching?

Anyone gonna place any bets as to the winners?

ESPN3.com. Oh yeah.

Can't wait for US/Britain tomorrow on ABC.

It's going to be an awesome cup, no picks for me, I just love watching.

Watched today's matches. Unfortunately I can't watch my two favorite teams play as I'll be working all weekend. Ahh well at least there are the highlights.

Out of sheer morbid curiosity, I checked out the match schedule today to see if there was even the slightest chance that North and South Korea would get a chance to duke it out on the field.

Sadly, it won't happen until a possible semi final. And that's only if North Korea wins their group.

Oh well.

Oh well.

Now that would be a scary game.

If there's any more as dull as the Uruguay-France match, I'll watch re-runs of curling...

Even the announcer wondered if they would ever "get out of second gear."

I suspect the North would get a red card at some point.

watching -- every game with with varying amounts of concentration -- but can't be bothered walking accross the street to th sports book to even see what the odds are, let alone place a bet.

so far, they've played two games scored two goals and recorded two ties. this could be a long and boring month. :p

No Idea, watching college baseball super regionals now, then world series

South Korea : Greece – 2:0. I gather it was a more exciting match, but I'm not going to watch all of them. I'm mostly in it for beer and chips and the prospect of headbutting incidents. :p

USA v England ?

How about getting into the big game USA v England what will be the result /score.

With Aussie bookies we can get odds on which English player will get red carded first... any nominations Wayne (brain cell) Rooney seems to be the favourite.

Rooney does seem a good choice -- especially since the referee for that game has reportedly been taking language lessons on English Cursing because of Rooney's reputation for cursing at the Ref. :p

puzzle for canadians.

root for US or for Britain?

do the old colonial ties still tug at the heart?

This house is cheering for both. Predictably.

We have flags, we have popcorn, we have chips and dips, gallons of coke (we don't do beer), let the game commence.
